Specs are smart glasses that use computer vision and heart rate biosensors to track your productivity and alert you in real time when you’re going off task. Using a system of strategies created under the advisement of expert neuroscientists, psychiatrists, and psychologists, Specs help make procrastination a thing of the past.

Specs are unlike any other productivity manager available. Traditional apps have notifications that can be easily ignored or swept away. Some try to shame you for getting distracted or guilt-trip you about your focus dwindling. Specs don’t rely on those—we use clinically proven psychological methodologies that motivate you to stay productive.

Procrastination can lead people to develop unhealthy coping mechanisms just to get by. Surveys have found that 25% of students rely on drugs like Adderall or Ritalin to keep them focused on their projects, and this trend is also found in high-stress workplaces. Others depend on a system of caffeine and alcohol to manage their productivity and sleep schedules. It’s time to stop these harmful habits and start using technology to help manage your life.

Specs are slim, stylish glasses that are indistinguishable from regular glasses. Our lightweight, compact frames are designed for everyday wear. What’s more, they’re made to accommodate your prescription, if you have one.

The sensors inside a pair of Specs are small enough to be unnoticable, but robust enough to track your heart rate, activities and focus level.

When combined with the computer vision technology in the frames, your Specs can tell exactly what you’re focused on—and whether or not it’s what you should be focused on, based on your personalized settings.

Productivity apps that limit screen time can be helpful, but the technology in Specs takes it to a whole new level by providing activity tracking both on and off screen. Most distractionsdon’t occur on one device alone, and Specs were built to give you control over your entire day, whether you’re looking to spend more time reading, or cut down the amount of time you spend socializing in person. Specs can even detect subcategories of activities, so you’ll have no problem focusing on reading an article on your computer while keeping away from Facebook.

You’re in complete control of your data privacy and encryption with Specs. Unlike other hardware products (ie. phones), all of the sensor data captured by Specs is securely processed on your phone’s hardware, and discarded immediately after processing. No external servers are needed for data processing, so your sensor data never actually leaves your device.

In fact, it would be physically impossible for anyone else to access your data without physically breaking into your phone and decrypting it

Specs uses proven psychological methodologies, such as mindfulness training, positive reinforcement, gamification, and mental conditioning, to ensure that you're always getting the most out of your day.
The Auctify Specs companion app lets you set your own preferences for each of these strategies, so that you get a truly personalized experience. If you need to cut out specific sites like Netflix or Facebook to keep you on track, you can. If you work best when you plan your day ahead of time, you can. If you need to spend half the day in meetings, then a few hours researching online, and then some more time writing, you can. You can set the app up to your unique specifications and preferences, making it a tool that’s tailored to your needs in every way.

Specs aren’t just for work. Specs are there to help you get the most out of your day, whether that means spending more time reading the book you’ve been meaning to get to, engaging your creative spirit in ways you couldn’t before, or even allocating more time for the exercise that you previously couldn’t fit into your day.

Improve your quality of work by eliminating procrastination. When you get distracted, it takes over 23 minutes to get fully back on task. If you get distracted multiple times a day, your work ends up getting rushed so you can complete it on time. People rarely do their best work under that kind of stress, but with Specs to help you get into a flow, you’ll get things done faster and better than ever before.

Whether it’s spending time with your family, watching a movie with friends, or going on vacation, Specs will help you finish your work so you can do the things you really want to do. What’s keeping your productivity high means that your stress will be lower, so you’ll be able to more fully enjoy the important things in your life.

Our version zero prototype could track your focus & activities, measure your heart rate, and play music. But we've come a long way since then. We've taken all this hardware, and packed it into a sleek frame that looks completely indistinguishable from a regular pair of glasses.
Here, you'll see just how far we've come with our machine learning models. Specs can track most common activities such as eating, reading, socializing, using your phone, and a lot more. As we continue training our machine learning models in the coming months, we'll be able to improve our accuracy even further, and add more activities to our database.
