Take in the spectacular beauty of Litchfield National Park on this full day tour through the Northern Territory’s lush waterfalls, rainforest, and historic sites. Departing from Darwin, you’ll be guided on walks between waterfalls and even have the opportunity to swim in natural rainforest pools.
Your tour of the natural splendour of Litchfield National park starts with Florence Falls. Admire the double falls from a high viewing platform, before making your way down to take a dip in the plunge pool if you’re up for it. Enjoy a guided walk through the picturesque bush and monsoon vine forest, then visit the beautiful Tolmer Falls where you can also see colonies of rare bats. After lunch at Litchfield Cafe you’ll visit Wangi Falls, where there’s another opportunity to swim and Magnetic Termite Mounds for an incredible photo opportunity.
Please bring enclosed walking shoes, warm layers in cooler months, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, a water bottle to hold one litre, and swimmers and towel if swimming.
For bookings from 1st of November 2023, all visitors must pay a compulsory $10 Northern Territory Parks fee per person that is NOT included in the tour price and needs to purchased prior to departure. Some images have been supplied by Tourism NT.
