Not comfortable .

Sorry I purchased 2 of these . They are too wide, uncomfortable and have a funny odor . The backs are slanted so we use a pillow for support. It’s expensive to return them .

Nice chair first one broke! But Macey's is Amazing and took care of it right away! And replaced it with a new one.

Nice chair

This chair is very soft & comfortable. The wide, cushy arms were a selling point for me. The electric settings are nice and I love that it has a separate one just for the head rest. The only reason I give it only 4 stars is that it doesn’t have a remote control. I bought this for a post surgery situation & a remote would have been wonderful. Larger buttons on the side of the chair for the electric settings would have been more convenient. The ivory color goes with everything so it can go anywhere in the house. All in all I’m happy with it! Macy’s delivery team members were very pleasant & efficient. They knew the product & wanted to make sure they placed it exactly where I wanted it. They explained the power settings to me & answered my questions.

Not comfortable like the one in the store was

Like others have said, the chair on the store was comfortable. I laid it back all of way and it felt great. I purchased this last spring and it was delivered in May. It felt nothing like the chair in the store. I sm 5 ft 4 in and my feet hang way off of the footrest, and there is a huge rock hard lumbar support in the back. I can't even lay it all of the way back because the lumbar support is so thick, it bends your back upward like a pretzel. I have fibromyalgia, and I sleep in the recliner, as I can't lay flat. I hoped the chair and lumbar area would soften up over time, 8 months later it hasn't, but somehow the chair has become even less comfortable. I only buy chairs I can try out, because it has to fit properly, especially for sleeping. The chair in the store was great, the one delivered is like sitting in a chair made of stone. I have purchased several chairs from Macy's, but they no longer carry the one I had before.

Very Strong Chemical Smell

I’m very disappointed. Beautiful chair. Works well. Will likely return because of the chemical smell, which has dissipated but not disappeared after two weeks. I’ve run the fan and the air purifiers. Still…can’t sit in it for long. This was part of a recent shipment. (Jan 2024) Perhaps the earlier ones smelled better.
