- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 October 2023I bought this book for my son who is 8 years old and I've got to say it kept both of us quiet for a while. I'm terrible at drawing myself so probably need something aimed more at children! I was quite impressed with my little drawings and my son's weren't half bad too. He has actually found it useful when doing homework projects such as fact posters as it does show you how to draw pretty much anything you may need even a toilet.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 May 2017This book kept my two grandsons occupied. They were delighted at being able to follow the simple diagrams and produce drawings as good as in the book.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 August 2017Cute little book. Full of simple examples of mostly everything to get you doodling. A nice book because it reminds you you can draw good things that don't have to be on technical par with the Mona Lisa.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2023This is a wonderful book, full of fun and interest. If you want to see how things and people are drawn, buy it. I love it!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2021Bought this for my 9-yr old who loves to draw; he spent several hours going through the book and selecting items to draw. He still uses it periodically for reference.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 June 2020My 10 year old loves it. Everything is drawn in a simple cartoonish way. Don't expect realistic drawings or advanced techniques. So great for kids
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 February 2020This source book is ok if you want to draw in a childlike fashion but if you are looking for something a bit more adult you will be disappointed. Almost everything is included however, even a toilet, so the book lives up to its name. Might be good for a pre-teen child who is keen to draw.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2018I like to draw pictures but I am mocked by my children because I am rubbish. No more. This handy book gives instructions on how to draw almost everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for beginners!
This is a really nice book full of fun doodles that are easy and fun to replicate. I feel an embarrassing amount of pride for each doodle I finish and walk around the house showing everyone my work, like a little kid.
For beginning artists, you may not have the range of pens and markers she recommends, but it ultimately doesn’t matter. Just use the book w the tools you have and decide if you love drawing enough to invest in more pens, etc. I found that I like the ink line art the most so far, but I’m just getting started.
