My 2.5 yr old has asked me what my skin spots are. I liked the idea of having a doll that shows it as well. I'm hoping that it will come in other skin tones since vitiligo doesn't effect only certain skin tones. I have olive skin tone, and know other people with much lighter skin tones as well with vitiligo. Looks like other dolls in this series come in different skin tones so I hope this will happen soon for this particular Barbie.

We got the Fashionistas Barbie #135, she has vitiligo. My 4 year old son LOVES this doll. We have a close friend who has vitiligo and it is very nice to have a toy that looks like her. This Barbie's hair is great, too! I do wish that there was a better selection of less “traditional” clothing options available (pants, etc.), but for now the Fashionistas line is a great step in the right direction. I LOVE that there is a vitiligo Barbie just wish her spots were more symmetrical and also on other skin colors!!! Sooo cool tho I will be buying her! I have vitiligo on tan skin so vitiligo I am guessing is on all skin colors!!   Again thank you so much for making vitiligo Barbie!!! So awesome!!!

My daughter was super excited when she got this in the mail. She tore open the package and exclaimed that the doll had hair just like one of her friends. The doll has been a favorite in our house since it arrived. 

I love that the new fashionista line represents so many different people. It makes the dolls much more relatable in my opinion. I thought it was really cool to see a doll with vitiligo. 

The doll is well made with the same quality we have come to expect from Barbie over the years. The accessories and clothing are nicely made and fit the doll well.

I purchased her for my Barbie collection, she's beautiful. V Barbie helped me explain her condition to my grandson. My brother has Vitiligo, and when my grandson sees him, he will understand now.
