Cesme is an excellent city for beach tourism. If you're interested in excursions to ancient sites or something similar, then you'll need to go somewhere else. If you come by your own car, it's not a problem; I traveled from Cesme to Izmir and Ephesus that way. But if you just want to swim in the crystal-clear sea and relax on beautiful beaches, then this is the perfect choice. There are public beaches with free changing rooms, showers, and toilets. There are also private beaches with a wide range of prices, from 200 TL to 2200 TL (and possibly even more, I'm not sure). There are also wild beaches where people relax with tents - in short, there are plenty of options. But the important thing is that everywhere the water is perfectly clean, and the sand is excellent.

Well in term of quietness, this could be the best part of turkey. No trouble, no noise and very clean area. It's like somewhere in suburbs of a crowded city you go during weekends. But in my mind, I stayed for too long; maybe at most two days was enough.
You can walk in marina area and enjoy the beautiful wether during summer.
I saw something strange in there: you can not feel like you're in Turkey at all. All the shops are playing European or American music, and the restaurants are all serving every kind of food except for Turkish! The only thing which is related to Turkey is when you hear people talking in Turkish!
Believe me, if you're looking for adventure, this place is not the place!

Beautiful villas and garden.
Beautiful villas and garden. Luxuriant green everywhere, clean and clearly well managed. The water was crystal-clear everywhere (and I've been on six beaches). Unfortunately the beaches themselves were the dirties I've ever seen. Cigarette stubs (absolutely everywhere), plastic wrappings, bags, on one beach even even beers left behind, absolutely no respect for the nature ... If one can ignore this and go mostly for the water and swimming it's a great place.

An amazing getaway for able-bodied adults.
An amazing getaway for able-bodied adults. This isn’t a kid-friendly town.
Some key takeaways:
- The wind can be brutal.
- Scooters/wheeled vehicles need to be banned on pedestrian-only walkways but they aren’t so be cautious.
- Lack of food options. Everything is Turkish or a spin-off of Turkish (“homemade”, faux Mexican are still Turkish dishes).
- Incessant prayers over loudspeakers from mosques at least 5x a day (4:30am-10:40pm). Read about this prior to visiting.
- NOT accessible if you have any type of impairment (bad back, assisted walking devices, etc.)
- Don’t expect people to speak English or to have menus in English. If you have zero expectations of this then you’ll be fine.
- Power/water outages are common.
- Driving in Turkey. Just DON’T. Leave it to the pros and grab a Taksi. Traffic signals are very confusing. Round-abouts also use traffic signals (no clue why but they do). Lines on roads mean nothing. Patience, patience, patience. Drivers blow horns and flash lights constantly (don’t take this personally and never react to them). In fact they sometimes honk their horn to help you out. I suggest not even attempting to drive here.
Overall, we stayed in Cesme for an entire month. It is a beautiful coastal town and if you are mentally prepared for the above-mentioned things then you’ll have a wonderful time.

Is nice place to visit but i would spend there 2 weeks on holidays...there are beaches but they are not big nor with nice sand (perhaps the ones i visited only) but is a place where you can enjoy differnt things and places to visit ...overall a nice place
perfect sea view, nicely decorated, friendly staff.
recommend superior rooms upstairs - ours with jacuzzi was just perfect, of course at a price.
you need a car for exploring this nice area of Turkey. take your time to walk along the roads and the small peninsula next to the hotel: a tiny lighthouse and if you walk further to the right from it along the waterline by stone plates you may find personal beach, however beware of sea urchins and waves. another attraction is the aquarium walls with schools of fish at one of the villas nearby.
I have already experienced very many hotels in various places around the world. Never have I felt so comfortable for the entire duration (7 days). You feel like you are at home and nothing feels foreign.
The hotel is also very centrally located and all the important places in Cesme are within walking distance. The rooms as well as the garden and the pool are very nicely decorated and always kept clean.
I would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful time that my wife and I had with you.
We had a superb stay at Annemin Harabesi. Our apartment was in a charming stone building and it contained everything we needed. Every morning we were given the most delicious Turkish breakfast, which was so generous that we didn't need to eat lunch. The owners are delightful and extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was also reasonably priced and centrally located. The dolmus to other villages is a 5 minute walk. The best place we stayed at in Turkey. Don't miss it!
Location is amazing. Walking distance in everything you need to see in Cesme, and there is nearby Dolmus, small bus that can take you to any of the many amazing beaches. It takes 15 minutes and you can get dropped anywhere you prefer. Our hosts were very friendly, helpfull and we give our thanks to them. This is a budget hotel and it might not all be 5 stars but is more than worth the price.
My vacation was marvelous and the hotel contributed to that. Personnel was polite and assisted in whatever I needed. I valued a lot the attitude to the room cleaning - it was dine very attentively. The hotel location is in the very heart of everything in Cesme. That helps a lot if many plans are on your agenda and period of accommodation is limited. Thanks for everything!
There is a gentleman at lobby named Emrah Sözanlayan, who speaks English fluently, almost better than anyone I have ever seen in Turkey! Emrah is highly professional, polite, kind, and extremly supportive on every enquiries with open arms and a big smile behind his mask. He is a topnotch efficient and hardworking man, and is honestly a real added value to this hotel.
Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff and quite a lot of modern facilities. They have a nice terrace where they serve tasty turkish breakfast.
Special thanks to Banu, who helped us a lot and showed the hotel upon arrival.
The hotel is in the residential area of Cesme, so it'll take a while to get to the center. It's better to come here by car.
Lovely hotel, staff was super friendly & helpful.
Emre at the restaurant was very very friendly, helpful, kind & polite
Ardinch at the front desk was very helpful, he even offered to drive us with his car to Marina 🙏🏾❤️ thank you so much
The housekeeping lady is so funny & friendly
The pool is clean & big.
I would stay again in my next visit
Do yourself a favor and reserve this place. You will need a car for sure but you will need a car anyway if you are visiting Cesme. You can easily get to the main roads driving from roads behind the hotel and avoid getting through the crowded center every time you wanna head outside the city. It is just perfect.
The location was great. Staff was really friendly and helpful, and gave many great suggestions to us re places to visit etc. The room and service quality are both excellent. The hotel has a rooftop bar. The view from there was great. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a nice and cozy stay at Cesme.
The hotel is really amazing. Clean like 5 stars hotel. Fact that is family owned make it even better. Ozcan family are very polite, guest welcoming and makes you feel like home. If you are staying in Cesme this the place to be :)
very friendly staff, very very good location. right between alacati and cesme and even the minibuses are stopping right in front of the hotel. the hotel is very clean too.
Hotel staff were very nice and helpful from the moment we checked-in. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall, we enjoyed staying here.
The staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Cesme. The room was clean. Breakfast was also good. So I definitely recommend Ata Cesme.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but cozy. This hotel is right on the main road very close to the castle, and close to the old town.
