I am thrilled with my new Anchor Hocking 11 PC Glass Bake ware Set! I have always had colored bowls, but I really like these clear bowls. You can see exactly what you are mixing and if it is thoroughly mixed or not. Also, you can tell how done it is when baking in them. Another good thing is that they won’t stain. The reason this is also such a wonderful set is that you can do anything with them. They go from the microwave, to oven, to refrigerator, to freezer, and are also dishwasher safe. What a great set. I think this set is a perfect all-around set for either replacing old pieces or missing items in your kitchen, or for a wedding gift, or for someone just starting out. I would give these for holiday gifts, housewarmings, birthdays, Bridal Showers, or weddings. This set does have a limited 5-year warranty also. I love the 3 small prep bowls for spices and getting organized. I’ve never had any until now. This set includes: a 8 in. square cake dish; (2) 9.5 in. deep pie plates; 1.5 qt. loaf pan; 16 oz. measuring cup; 1 qt. mixing bowl; 1.5 qt. mixing bowl; (9x13) Baking Dish; and Three - 2 oz Prep/Pinch Bowls. You will be ready to bake to your heart’s content with this set. They are also very thick and sturdy. I highly recommend this baking set.

Wonderful All-Around Baking Set

This 11 piece set is amazing. So many of the pieces get put to use daily. One of the favorites are the 3 pinch bowls. We use them for everything. Measuring, for dips or condiments or ot just put a little treat for the kids in. The dishes are heavy duty but light weight. They are dish washer safe. I am very pleased with this set.

Great set

I love the Anchor Hocking 11 piece glass bakeware and prep set. It has every size of bakeware you need in your kitchen, plus it has mixing bowls and a measuring cup. The quality of this bakeware is wonderful- it bakes well and cleans up well. Obviously since it is all glass, the set is dishwasher safe. This set has everything you need- every kitchen needs one and would make a great wedding gift as well.

Must have for every kitchen

I have already owned several different versions of most of these items. Glass bakeware is GREAT! It washed up great and is dishwasher safe. You can see if your food is burning as well with clear glass. 


The one grip I will always ALWAYS have is why these companies use this awful red print on measuring glasses. I use my measuring glasses all the time and in a years time it has worn off to the point I must hold it to the light to see the shadow of where the numbers used to be. Would it be too much to get them to start using raised glass numbers and letters? I know it is possible because I have a smaller glass measuring device that has this.

The other feature missing in this set a different set of mine has are nice lids to go over the casserole pans. That would have been a nice feature but is not part of the deal.

My daughter asked what you can do with the three very small bowls. They are used for dry and small measured ingredients when you are making dishes if you want it all premeasured so you can just dump it all later. 

It has 2 pie plates which is nice because typically I myself cook at least 2 pies at a time and never one. The mixing bowls are the items I have never owned. These are nice because you can whip up eggs for omelets or French Toast. Small batters would also work nice. Don't expect these mixing bowls to hold a cake mix though. I am pretty sure you will have a mess if you tried. 

For me all my glass bread pans are like gold. I use metal ones but I am not thrilled about it because they must be handed washed. In summer I make a lot of different zucchini breads and up to 6 pans go in my oven at a time. Glass bread pans are like gold. 

This is a great gift set or if you want to upgrade your current items a great way to start over.

Great set for anyone that loves to bake

This is a wonderful set to have! I used all of the bakeware and it is awesome! And I loved the measuring cup. I loved using the bakeware set for Thanksgiving when we the family brought a covered dish to my mom's. This is definitely a must have. It' bakes good and easy clean up of the dishes. And I can use them in my conventional oven!

Anchor Hocking Glass Bakeware Set

I used this 11-piece Anchor Hocking set to make my Thanksgiving Chicken Pot Pie (3 qt.) and Macaroni & Cheese Casserole (2 qt.--pictured). I got compliments on both...

The meal prep aspect is appreciated--I eliminated clutter by portioning out the spices I needed into the small 2 oz. bowls. I was also able to quickly microwave butter in one without taking up more space on the stove. The measuring cup is compact, but more than sufficient. It's clearly marked in detail: ½ pint, oz.(2-8), ml.(50-250), cup (1/4, 1/3,1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 1). I'm listing specific measurements since I've seen so many other cups with gaps or unclear markings.

I found the pieces in this set to be perfectly microwavable without getting too hot. They also clean up well--especially in the dishwasher. They have larger handles than my other glass casserole dishes, so I have more confidence taking these bubbling hot dishes out of the oven.

After dinner, I left a casserole dish in the sink to soak overnight (there was only a small amount of water in the dish). Overnight, someone laid more dirty glassware on top WITHOUT filling the sink with water. Thankfully, the Anchor Hocking tempered glass was tough enough to survive this incident without a scratch.

Thick, Tempered Glass--American Made

It's a beautiful set, especially if it's a gift for someone starting out on their own. 
The only unpleasant part is that the largest mixing bowl arrived broken in a few places on the rim of the bowl. It would be awesome if the bowl would be replaced.

It's a beautiful set

These heavy glass baking pans I ordered came wrapped in only a single layer of bubble wrap inside a thin bag. No box or anything. Upon opening, two of the three pans were cracked. It would've been nice to be able to actually use what I bought. I think the product is a nice product, but Walmart obviously does not know how to ship them right.

Broken

I wish I would’ve read the reviews. I ordered this Black Friday not even a month later tried to reheat leftovers on 450 not even 5 minutes later heard a big boom from upstairs. The glass had shattered in my oven. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life I was shocked! They should mention this in the description. Only used it one time. Waste of money. Now what am I gonna eat! I attached a picture
