This is a great, simple scale has a backlit display which makes it very easy to read. I knocked off several of the small rubber feet when scrubbed the scale across my kitchen counter. I reached out to AWS; Jermell Mitchell provided the replacements I needed: I damaged the load sensors trying to replace the feet -- this was my error -- rendering the scale inoperable. Jermell promptly replaced the scale under warranty.

I often wonder whether warranties on small electronics such as this will be fulfilled; the warranty was fulfilled and more.

I bought a similar looking scale years back that turns off automatically after a few minutes if it's not being used. I've only had to replace the batteries once in 4 years so far.

I bought this brand's scale recently as a gift for someone, because it looks almost identical. But because she sometimes forgets to turn it off, and there's no auto-off feature, she's already had to replace the batteries 3 months in.
