Thank you for your question. Operating time will depend on quantity of food being processed. Most foods can be sliced, chopped, or shredded in seconds. If unit is operated continuously for an extended period of time, let the processor rest about 4 minutes before continuing. When chopping foods, pulsing on and off will produce the best results.

I have made cashew butter and pistachio butter with this and they came out great. I always soak, then roast my nuts first. The pistachios blended quickly but I did have to let the processor rest a couple of times to blend the cashews. I didn't want to risk overheating the motor. Almonds should be no problem as long you let it cool when it heats up.

I put the almonds in my coffee grinder first. The processor instructions tell you not to run the processor for more than 4 minutes at a time, so that is what I did. I waited a few minutes and then proceeded. It took me 8 minutes to make the almond butter. Good luck.

I just made Cashew/Shredded Coconut Butter &amp; it is delicious and super creamy. I have not got to my Almonds yet, but based on what I experienced with what I have done, I don&#39;t think it will be a problem. This unit has 450 Watts of power. But, you don&#39;t want to run it any more than a few minutes at a time. When making nut butters you want to utilize the heat from the motor to assist. It will draw the oils from the nuts &amp; make for creamier butters. I run it back &amp; forth between low &amp; high for a few minutes &amp; let it rest for about ten minutes. Repeat until you have the consistency you are looking for.

Yes, it is great for chopping nuts and will do them either fine or semi-fine when using the pulse button

Yes this blade is so sharp it will grind them in a few seconds. My concern is eventually the blade is going to be less sharp. I am going to buy an extra blade.

Walnuts are quite soft actually. They should not be a problem at all. I just made Cashew &amp; Shredded Coconut Butter without any problem. Came out very creamy. If you are looking for chopped nuts to bake with, use pulse or you will end up with butter.

Can this food processor grind walnuts without burning up the motor?

this is not a mixer, it's a processor.... no bread blade or hook

So far as I know it doesn't. I did some research and found that the regular blade is better than the plastic dough blade in the higher end models.

That is the one thing missing on this processor.

I couldn't wait for the arrival of my food processor. I've never owned one and waited until now to purchase one. Man, have I wasted a lot of time using a blender. This food processor was so easy to clean up and use. And not to mention super fast. I was finished in half the time. This was a great investment and will recommend to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

Simplicity at its best...

Bought it for making dips, salsa and some chutneys, it works very well for a family of 4 to 6. Not so suitable for making in smaller quantity though. It functions well and as intended, initially had trouble with opening and closing the jar lid, but after a couple of attempts got used to it to close the lid properly. Haven't explored the other food processing possibilities with it yet.

I am so glad I bought this! It does a great job processing and the scrappers make it unique. No more having to open the lid and stir.  Its easy to clean and the suction cups on the base keep it in place. Made very well and fits right in between my kitchen aid and air fryer.

I Love This Food Processor!

So far, I love this food processor.  Easy to use and works well. I like the fact that there are no ribs in the bowl; thus easy to clean.  Can't speak for longevity as I've only had it a couple of weeks.  Works great for making pecan butter and all other uses so far.
