Dear Wulfie,

The square door on the left side of the tent zippers down. However, the D shaped door on the right side has two zipper pulls, and can be closed at either the top or the bottom (or anywhere in between). The room divider doors also both have two zipper pulls, and can be opened and closed at whatever point you choose.

The zippers do go to the top. The door in the screen room has zippers along he bottom that can be unzipped as well. A crafty toddler may be able to unzip the zipper from that room and go out the bottom of the door. You could put the little one in the end of the tent that the zipper goes all of the way up and zip up the inside door (the divider inside the tent) it also goes all of the way to the top to prevent them from getting out. There are two large screen windows in that room and the outside door has a screen on the top half so you can keep an eye on the toddler if you were outside cooking or hanging out around the fire after the baby went to bed.

You can, of course, zip the doors shut in either direction. The 'D' door has two zippers. Thus, if you're aim is to keep toddlers in you need to make sure both zippers are at the top.
The other door will work similarly, but not so with the screen part. The screen only allows for the zippers to end up at the bottom (3 of them - one from top to bottom and 2 bottom ones that end at the center of the bottom.
The solution would be to close the 'door part' of the door from the outside and leave the zippers up high.

No poles at the doors, only zippers. Also, I wish the door would have a stake down area at them because when you use the zipper you need to tug the bottom to unzip it easier.

We purchased this tent recently and used it and were very happy. I don't remember the number of stakes, I just know that there were enough so that the tent and the rain fly each had stakes for every spot. Hope that helps!

I think there are about 17 areas to stake down. We have been to lazy to stake them all down though and everything was fine.

We bought this tent so our kids could camp in our yard during the Pandemic. Change up the scenery a bit. We put it up the day we got it, it was pretty simple. Took my 11 and 14 year old 10 minutes. Had 2 days of nicer weather, then a day of full on wind and rain. Tent held up marvelously. No water, no issues withstanding 20 mile per hour winds either. We love it

I can not praise this tent enough! It had all the parts. The description was accurate. The shipping arrived sooner than expected! This was a overall good purchasing experience! If you want to do tent camping you can't do better than three rooms and a "porch." Call me an optimist, but this tent is amazing. I set it up in my front yard to check everything out, and a guy stopped by just to check it out! You need to get this family friendly tent!

Awesome tent

This tent was great! Took it on a family campout for a week.  1 night of heavy downpour and no leaks.  Loved the awning and the air conditionar vents.  We took 1 portable air conditionar that kept the tent cool and comfortable in the July heat!

Set-up went fine but one of the 'instant clips' didnt  stay secure and the tent collapsed in the middle of the night. Has potential but the plastic should be a different material.

This tent is a home away from home.  One bedroom with queen air mattress and 1 with twin. Other room used for gear storage and big enough for bed depending on your needs.  Just remember to FULLY extend the top poles for fastest set-up.  Took 2 of us 15 mins to put it up and another 30 to stake it and make it home.
