It is so much lighter, that I was surprised. I think for the money, you could include a memory card and the attachment to hook the camera up to the computer to download photos. Fortunately, I could use my items from my old camera.

When used outside, it is nearly impossible to see what you are photographing. If you zoom in to your subject and you are outside, forget about seeing it in the viewfinder. I would suggest that you buy a camera that doesn't use a screen like your smart phone to focus on your picture because you will not be able to. Please do not buy this camera unless you are shooting in the shade or inside.

Had a Coolpix for years but it was frustrating ...limited zoom and a delayed shutter reaction that always seemed to capture the photo one second after everyone quit smiling. So many neat features on this. Recommend highly downloading the manual from Canon because it gives greater details and instructions. Recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to spend months learning a bunch of features but wants more than a "point and shoot" camera.

I downloaded some of the pictures and the line was on the pictures so the problem is with the sensor.
