At Dads Drinking Bourbon, we strive to make you #rethinkhowyoudrink. How do we do that? Through blind tastings and side-by-side reviews that remove brand and hype bias to bring you our most honest take on the whiskeys that are out there. If the chance is there, we also sit down with those people in the industry behind the whiskey, to get an honest glimpse into their world and thought processes.
When we review, we always look for characteristics: proof, mashbill, age, etc. and find comparable whiskeys to the one we are reviewing. We also try to find a good variance in price so that we can determine if the one we are reviewing is worth your hard earned dollar.
At the end of the day, we know you just want to know if the whiskey is worth spending any money on. We don’t claim to be experts, but we’ll do our best to describe the nose, taste, and finish, while keeping in mind in our overall review the cost.
