It might just be the friendliest hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Aside from the beauty of the hotel itself, the staff is just amazing. From the housekeeper to the restaurant staff and the receptionist - everyone was unbelievably nice. We traveled with a 19 months old and it was a great pleasure to stay at Son Julia. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone seeking relaxation, peace and hospitality. Thank you for making this trip truly memorable!

A historic 15th-century mansion, beautifully restored into a splendid luxury rural establishment, situated close to Palma de Mallorca and the Mediterranean Sea, and with state-of-the-art facilities and an indoor heated pool. In a truly remarkable location overlooking the surrounding countryside we offer spacious rooms and impressive suites, where original features have been kept wherever possible. Air-conditioned room include a flat-screen TV, and minibar. Their private bathrooms come with free toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. Find peace and tranquility in the lovely garden where children can play and you can relax in the Majorcan sunshine. Son Julia Country House & Spa Mallorca features gym, tennis court and spa, as well as 2 swimming pools. There are several golf courses nearby and the property arranges cycle tours of the island. The Sa Magrana Restaurant & Terrace offers creative Mediterranean dishes made using fresh produce and the wine list includes includes its own wine, son Julia. The restaurant features a sandstone arched roof and a terrace overlooking the estate´s vineyards. In the summer, there is live music on Thursdays.

In 2006 the current owners converted this private house into a luxury rural establishment, with 32 rooms and managed privately, so that we can provide an individualized and unparalleled service to our guests. We try to make everyone feel as if they had arrived at their own stately home, with a very personal treatment and attention to detail.

Property information

The Son Julia estate was converted into a charming rural establishment in 2006, this lovingly restored 15th century manor house and grounds now offer understated luxury for individual guests and families alike. It is surrounded by citrus, olive and palm trees and has its own vineyard. The gardens contain 2 swimming pools (one of which is for adults only) and a tennis court. Sa Magrana restaurant and terrace serves a buffet breakfast, healthy lunches and snacks, and dinner. Our kitchen uses local products to give an authentic island flavor to the dishes. The heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi and Finnish sauna offer a quiet space to relax in the cooler months, and our Spa offers massages, Ayurveda, Shiatsu, osteopathy and beauty treatments.

Neighbourhood information

We are just 5 minutes from the historic village of Llucmajor which holds a typical island market on Fridays and Sundays. Palma city is just 20 minutes drive and has the best restaurants & nightlife. Randa monastery is just 10 minutes away. The island´s most beautiful beach Es Trenc is 20 minutes drive. There are 2 golf courses located just 5 minutes away.
