Great Drone
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great drone, easy to learn to fly, very smart ai control and safe to fly around tree and object. It is very good a keeping still in higher wind up to 39mph! I highly recommend to anyone over the DJI.

I wanted to love this drone, the app is horrible~
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this drone, but unfortunately it has been an absolutely horrible experience dealing with Autel. I purchased it in July 2020 and was blown away at the image/video quality so I thought for sure this was going to be a winner. It wasn't, first of all the application for flying the drone feels like it's still in beta with app buttons/sliders not working and many different little bugs. They have released 2 updates since I've purchased it which is promising but the flight modes are very limited at best and the app has many less features than those of competitors. I also have the Anafi and the dronies, follow me mode, etc. are on the list that their app either doesn't have and if it is available it's horrible (for example the "Follow Me" mode follows you but when you try to ascend, descend or fly closer or further from the object the drone stops in it's tracks until you stop trying to control it...where the other drones I've flown allow you to control the drone while in follow me mode)...and this is just one of several examples. THEN...the atrocious customer service. The call center is like calling a few dudes that work at a coffee shop...when they feel like answering...including speaking to Alejandro who's the main spokesman on the tutorial videos. I have no problem with efficiency or a company that's new to launch and being patient with those changes, the issue I have is paying the price that this drone costs and having to ship it back 4 weeks after owning it because it drifts in flight and calibrations fail every time you try to calibrate it and being treated like I'm annoying them. The SD Card cover was falling off the rubber that holds it, when I sent pictures the tech said that I could glue it back (or once again ship the drone back for them to inspect it...at 4 weeks old!) My take, for what it's worth buy a different drone for now until they update their app to match the quality of the hardware or they grow a bit more structure and customer service.

Battery Life + Customer Service Fail
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You will love flying this drone. As an aircraft and as a device to capture stunning still images and video, it is superb. So why do I give it only one star? The battery life indicator is extremely unreliable, and customer service takes no accountability for this. My drone initiated a landing sequence entirely on its own with 16% of its battery life left (this metric along with estimated remaining flight time of 5 minutes are clearly recorded in the flight log) and landed in enough water to destroy the electronics. The drone was 120.5 feet away from me and flying at an altitude of 12 feet. Easy to bring back to my location in a matter of seconds. I tried to abort the landing and the aircraft was unresponsive. When I contacted customer service they were willing to review the flight log with me. They admitted that my explanation of the sequence of events was correct. No dispute. But they placed 100% of the blame on me for flying with low power. This drone at this price point with a battery indicator that shows a precise % of life left (accompanied by a time estimate as well) should have given more reliable data to the pilot. Imagine if your car ran out of gas with an estimated 1/8th of a tank of gas left. Would you feel responsible for that? This is how Autel Robotics runs its customer service center. You should know that before you buy this drone. And if you buy this drone and have trouble, you will remember this review and kick yourself.

A great alternative to DJI products
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I picked up this drone due to the issues that I was having with DJI and the Mavic 2pro . As some of you may know the google 12 update made the pixel next to useless for using DJIs app. I waited months for a simple patch from DJI, with little to no feedback. Once DJI said to "borrow someone' s device in the meantime" I had enough. Best buy lucky has a program that extends returns on the Mavic 2 pro. I exchange the Mavic 2 for this drone. To be completely honest, I'm happy things played out the way they did, because this drone feels like a step up from the Mavic 2. They generally similar, but the interface of the app and lack of issues made me fall in love with this drone! definitely worth it! If you liked the Mavic 2 pro then you will feel right at home with this drone.

Great Drone
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drone is awesome! It has a great camera & several obstacle avoidance sensors. It’s put together well too & their customer service actually answers their phone & will email you back if you have any issues. If you want super crispy photos or vids I recommend getting the Evo II Pro

Q: QuestionCrash proof/restiance? Can record wedding? Water proof?
Asked by Elizabeth.
- A:Answer This drone is HIGHLY crash resistant and I dare to say that there is so much automation available to fly this drone that a beginner would be able to fly it almost immediately. I've flown nothing but DJI for the past 10 years, and this is my first product from another company and couldn't be happier. The Evo 2 is not waterproof, but it definitely is much more rugged compared to the phantom or mavic. For example, I flew it into some clouds and it had a lot of condensation on it when it landed, water basically beading off the body everywhere, and it was fine, just a wipe off and it is all good. The real surprise is with the quality of the imaging the camera system captures in 6k and 8k, depending on the model. Major noticeable upgrade from the DJI cameras, I'm very happy with all aspects of this drone. It outperforms everything I've ever had, which basically a fleet of DJI drones of all shapes and sizes.

Q: Questiondo it come with remoto dont show one in photo
Asked by johm.
- A:Answer It does come with a controller. It will be a far better experience though, when you use your smart device as a first person view, when your smart device is plugged into the controller with included cable. That's if it's brand new. If it's refurbished, you may not get the cable with it.

Q: QuestionDoes this come with a case and a charger?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Should come with a charger, no matter which you buy. To get a case, you would have to look for it to be bundled with it, not all places offer a bundle like that. You can always buy aftermarket anything for them.
