Bar Harbor Clam Chowder has excellent taste.   I especially like the fact that is condensed so the flavor can be adjusted with butter and milk levels.   Unlike many other brands of Clam Chowder the quantity of clams is good.

I recommend to those that like " real " clam chowder.

My new favorite Clam Chowder for home meals.

Great product at an excellent price. This item is sold in specialty stores where I live and is very pricey. Walmart.com carries this at a very reasonable price so my dad received a case for Christmas! My dad and his family spent summers in Maine, so he carried on the tradition and took my sisters and me there every summer as well. We always loved the clam chowder and this is as close to going to Maine as we've found.

Great stuff!  I usually make my own but this is almost as good!  I throw a little cream in while cooking, add some pepper.  Done!

Almost as good as home made

Absolutely the best store bought clam chowder that I have ever tasted. It actually rivals restaurant clam chowder. I can not recommend it highly enough.

Excellent

Eating this soup was the next best thing to being at Abbots in Connecticut! This is genuine New England Clam Chowder. Just add a few oysterette crackers and you'll be in heaven. No other canned clam chowder compares to this. On a dreary day, in this beyond dreary pandemic, while in isolation -- we were transported to happier times. Thanks Bar Harbor and thanks Walmart for delivering this.

Best clam chowder outside of New England!

Tasty, convenient option for lunch or other light meal or snack.  Tender clams and doesn't taste too fishy.

One of the best canned soups out there

Good tasting product but never has enough clams in it to suit me so I add a can of clams to it.  A little over-priced in my opinion but probably will buy again.

More clams needed.

Three of 6 cans arrived badly dented. Two so severely that I won't be consuming contents.
Returning this would be an inconvenience,so I will take the loss and not repeat the order

More care needed

This "used" to be wonderful clam chowder, creamy, lots of clams and big pieces of potatoes with a rich flavor, plus no chemical junk added.  Then, unfortunately Bumble Bee bought the company, now, it's thin, grainy, clam and potato pieces are about 1/4 the size they were before.  Don't think I'll be buying this brand any more.
