These work in my bathroom and I also have 4 inch tiles. Be sure you clean each surface and use rubbing alcohol on each tile the suction cup will contact.

Yes, it should be. We have 4 inch tiles as well, and the instructions actually say it can be used with 4 inch tiles. On our tiles, the inner edges of both suction cups overlaps the grout just a bit, but the bar seems to be securely attached. As other reviewers have suggested, I would make sure the tiles are very clean and dry (I used rubbing alcohol) before applying.

that is what mine is attached to just have to take it off once in a while to clean cups and tile then put it back on

The cups are 4" in diameter so the flat surfaces for the cups to contact should preferably be at least 4" square. But a slightly smaller flat surface may suffice.

Yes - angle the bar to fit, hold the suction cups with your fingertips so they don't slide into the grout line as you press down, and then lock.

It should. I have 4 inch tiles in my bath wall and it worked fine. However, I had to install at an angle to get the cups in the middle of the tile. Hope that helps.

It depends. I have 4x4 tiles and the grip appeared good, then the product fell. I tried angling it many ways, but the 1/16&quot; of grout did not allow for proper suction of both cups, just one, and I cannot chance it. I tried it for one day and it kept falling off the wall. I&#39;m returning it.

we have porceline 4 inch tiles in our shower will the surface be large enough to grip?

It can work on tile as long as the tile is big enough to accommodate the suction cup and that the tile is clean and of a smooth surface.

Yes, as long as the suction cups to don't cross over a grout line. The tiles need to be smooth and non-porous. Clean and dry also will allow for proper installation. No soap residue of any kind will make for a good clean suction to be made.
