I had to put this book down several times to finish it. It usually takes me 3-days, max, to read a book, but this took me at least 3-weeks. Without too many spoilers, it just dragged on and on -- the 2 main characters should have just gotten together when they were younger, and the reasons it dragged on and on, is what made it hard to read. I don't recommend this book - good beginning and ending, but the middle was ridiculous. Especially with what decisions the female lead character made!!!!

Definitely not your usual love story. At one point I put the book down and said I can't read any more bit since I purchased it I had to finish it. I got upset but realized that things like that can really happen in life. The ending made it worth it.

Loved this book. I love how complicated it was because that is the reality of life. There is always a twist in Ward's books. I fell in love with the characters and it was so emotionally well written.
