LG - Door-in-Door 28.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel

This refrigerator is outstanding. It has a lot of space and an in-door ice making machine. The in-door ice making machine makes less ice than the bulkier Samsung ones that occupy a large space on the top most shelve, but however, LG has incorporated a secondary ice making machine inside the freezer to make up for it. You do have the option to not use and turn off the secondary ice maker, take out the ice bin and have additional space in the freezer. I however, with a big family use both machines. I can see a family of 4 or 5 using only the top one just fine. The water dispenser is at the top most outer part of the console to accommodate tall pitchers and both water and ice dispense only when activated compared with other refrigerators which continue to drip 1 or 2 drops of water or have a small water leakage from ice left over in the dispense. This LG has none of that, so it's always clean in the bottom catch-all. It is very well lighted and shelves can organized as you like. The inside deli drawer has 3 temperature settings to chose from to accommodate your needs. The door in door design helps with saving energy as only a smaller portion is accessed when getting daily essentials i.e. milk, juice, etc. thus having less cold air leak out. I was skeptical in having this door in door as there is an inside see through door that serves to maintain the cold air inside when the outside door in door is opened because my thought was the products placed in this door wouldn't be cold or cool since the barrier was there. That is not the case. Products inside here are just as cool as any other one inside the fridge. The only con to this refrigerator is it's ability to attract smudges. They clean right off easily, but it is the only downside compared to other fridges. However, don't let this con drive you away, there are many great things going on for this fridge.

I love this LG fridge.. more space inside and running very quite . I used to have GE fridge side by side and it last 15 years and still running it. I still keep my GE in my garage. But I hope this new LG fridge will run like my old GE fridge for long time. I have picture for my new LG fridge

Very satisfied over-all with the refrigerator(two upper doors and one lower drawer) but the upper doors do not open all the way, making it difficult to access the interior and also make it almost impossible to slide the interior drawers out. Same problem on the floor model so it's not just our refrigerator. However on the model with the same basic design that has two upper doors and two lower drawers, the upper doors open much further and there is no problem sliding the interior drawers out and accessing the interior. The upper doors on both models appear the same but the hinge designs are very different. Very strange.

Great refrigerator, great price. Delivered and installed when promised. Going to enjoy the door in the door feature.

Love the space, the lighting and the ice maker! Also the shelf that you can slide for more space is very handy.

I love this refrigerator! It is very spacious with a lot of storage compartments and I love the quick grab door. It's perfect for the kids to be able to grab their snacks and drinks! I also love the air filter feature that keeps your space smelling fresh even though you may have some leftovers with garlic. We entertain a lot so I love the sliding drawer because it is really wide and deep so it's perfect for party trays. Very happy with this purchase!

Beautiful French door refrigerator with freezer drawer below. Stays very cold! Ice maker and water line are great as well.

I was hesitant to purchase LG based on one appliance store's recommendation. We have had the fridge a little over a month and couldn't be happier. The indoor ice maker saves a lot of room and while it doesn't hold an enormous amount, we haven't ran out, and there's a second one in the freezer drawer. Everything stays super cold, and I love the pass through door for quick access to drinks!
