About

Created by lead singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Christ Stein, the punk/new wave band Blondie became a phenomenon in the late 1970s by successfully breaking into mainstream pop culture  —thanks in part to Harry’s insouciant, sassy vocals. Millions of fans worldwide continue to embrace the band's signature vibe — an energetic, edgy sound that's still fresh and contemporary. In concert, Blondie always serves up a stylish mix of sounds ranging from pop and reggae to rap, with a dash of retro disco and electro-pop thrown in. Now in their fourth decade of performing. Blondie has released a new album that has already generated several bestselling singles as well as an international tour.

Blondie released its first European albums in the mid-1970s, but it wasn’t until 1978 that the band got international attention with the release of Parallel Lines. During the next several years, the band released a string of hits, including “Atomic,” “Call Me” and its biggest hit, the iconic “Heart of Glass.” In 1982, Deborah Harry began to pursue a successful solo career, but the band reformed in 1987. Blondie was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, the year of its 30th anniversary. That same year, it released a best-of album, Sound & Vision, followed by Panic of Girls in 2009. The band's 10th album Ghosts of Download will be released in January 2014. The new album has already garnered a popular single, “A Rose by Any Name,” and enthusiastic ticket holders got the opportunity to hear several of the band's newest singles during Blondie’s European tour in 2013. Recently, Debbie Harry delighted her millions of fans by announcing that the band will do a promotional tour for the new album in 2014 — although concert dates have not yet been announced.

    She is still rocking it!

The waiting was definitely worth it. Once Blondie took stage, the party didn't stop for an hour and 20 minutes. Every song was amazing, and even more so due to how long they've been around. The old songs as well as the new did not disappoint! First time at this venue was also superb 👌

Fantastic performance at a beautiful outdoor amphitheater! Blondie played just as they play any event- beautifully. Clem is a machine on the drums. Incredible drummer!! Debbie’s voice is sublime as ever and Blondie’s music is timeless.

    Blondie

Blondie was great, especially with her being 78 years old. Graphics very cool. But I have to say I was disappointed that the 7 PM concert did not start until 815.

    Missed out

    by DidntDanceway on 8/13/23

Because I was busy, I missed the Blondie concert. My fault. However a text a week before, and 3 days before might have helped remind me. The ticket is on the phone, which easily receives texts. I saw an email from Ticketmaster on Friday.

    Blondie’s still rocking

    by Pete on 8/13/23

Great outdoor concert at Tulalip Casino Amphitheatre, Washington. Fifteen song set started with One Way or Another and progressed through the band’s biggest hits. Debbie sounded great and seemed to genuinely be enjoying every minute of the concert. The bad was amazing, Clem Burke on drums always delivers! Visuals were pretty amazing, ranging from smoke effects to a heart of glass shattering to Blondie comic book characters. I’ve been a fan for well over 40 years and am so grateful that I was able to see Blondie once more, and hopefully again in the future.
