About this movie

Based on a true story, the film follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a $300 million deal to arm the Afghan Military—a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.

War dogs is nothing like the hangover is they share only 1 thing and that's the director. Todd Phillips gives us another great film that id very dark and not as funny as you would think. Yes the movie is under the comedy section but it is not a comedy its a film that shows that war is a way to make money for some. I absolutely loved every part of this movie and highly recommend it.

I first heard this real life story on the podcast Snap Judgement...when I realized it was a movie, I went to see it in theatres. The movie is a great insight in to how war is viewed as just a dollars and cents money maker to many private firms in this world. Solid 4 out of 5. More so I recommend listening to SNAP JUDGEMENT ACCIDENTAL ARMS DEALER. Google it...That is a 5 of 5 to me

I would rate this movie as 4,2/5,00. War Dogs includes an interesting plot, that revolves the idea of the modern American Dream, notwithstanding its' negative overtone. Work hard and you shall accomplish your dreams. Although I do agree that War Dogs is a comedy, I did not laugh much. I would recommend War Dogs to interested viewers.
