Is it too early to start shopping for school supplies?

Summer just started, and getting yourself (or your kids) ready for back to school is probably the last thing on your mind.

But in a recent survey of 1,000 Canadians over the age of 18, conducted by The Harris Poll, 21 per cent of Canadians take advantage of July deals to do back-to-school shopping. Prime Day perhaps?

According to Retail Me Not, 84 per cent of retailers say the week of Amazon’s Prime Day is the kick off to the entire back to school shopping season. The same case also reveals 64 per cent of parents will be using Prime Day as the starting point, with an average spend of $507.
