Will Teagan embrace her destiny or walk away? Will Tristan find a way to fall in love with Teagan and save his pack? I could not stop reading to find the answers.
It has been a while since I have read a paranormal book so when For Love, Not War came out I could not wait to start it. I was quickly pulled into the lives of Teagan and Tristan. I wanted to know their history, to know their future, and to know how their paths would come together. Could they overcome all the obstacles thrown at them, find their true mates, and save their packs?
I love Teagan and Tristan, but Mac was the character that I was intrigued by. I love how protective he is of Teagan, how he lets her make her own decisions, trusts her to do the right thing, and offers her the support she needs. I would love to learn more about Mac and hope that he will continue to be found in the books to come in this series.
I am excited to see what will come next in the A Battle of Legacies Series.

I found this world to be somewhat different from others of this nature, which helped me to enjoy the journey of Teagan and Tristan. With so much secrecy and danger surrounding them, I did not know if they would find their way to each other. They had such chemistry from the start, and their intimacy was very hot. This was a good story, and I recommend it.

I finished For Love, Not War last night and I was hoping the words for the review would come to me, but they haven't. I even messaged the author at one point and was like WTF did Tristan just do? I love how the back story was revealed along with main story. The relationship between Tristan & Teagan is filled with so many twists and turns and barriers, that I could have sworn I had the ending figured out but then BAM...another twist. I can't wait to see where Jade Royal takes this series.

Tristan needed to mate ASAP for security, to save his parents and secure his kingdom. Love wasn’t a factor.

All the feels!
This book sends you on a roller coaster of emotions. The way these 2 dance around each other does it, but then the relationship she has with Mac,her protector will hit all the daddy's girls in the gut. Very well written and I can't wait to read Aragon's story.

This is a new author to me and I definitely will be reading more books by her! The characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing and intense. Tristan and Teagan we’re both alphas and destined to be together. They completed a partial bond but circumstances prevented them from completing the full mate bond. With all of these secrets and danger surrounding them will they be able to find a way back to each other? Will they finally complete the bond? I am looking forward to the next saga and this gripping and suspenseful series!!

This paranormal is not the typical variety. There is more to the story. Things become more complicated as the story continues. This book ends on an HEA, but is the beginning of this new series. I really enjoyed the character development and the author giving differing powers to all the mates. Ms. Royal gave a sneak peek into the next book and I can’t wait to read more.

First read by this author, whom was recommended to me, so thought I'd give it a try. Teagan and Tristan were both alpha's, through their heritage, and had half bonded when they were just children/pup's, so when grown would hopefully fully bond. So that their packs could forge an army to extract revenge for their parents.
However thing's don't always go their way, with obstacles in their way and a jealous bitch, in the way, can they overcome them and be together.

Teagan and Tristan's story is intense, prophetic, suspenseful, and has all the feels. I enjoyed how the legacy was intertwined with the current story. I'm looking forward to the next in series. This is going to be an amazing saga.
