Thank you for your question. That is a tough question. Like in any emergency situation, we have to adjust. First, might call your power company to obtain a time the power might be back on. Second, If you have one, use a generator or another heat source to cook on. Third, maybe just wait until the power comes back on.

Had a damaged item when unpacked, I contacted Camp Chef and they quickly  shipped out a replacement.  I had never used a smoker before so I cooked stakes first and they were wonderful.  Now  I've  cooked two racks of  baby back ribs with no issues. Purchasing optional folding front rack to set food on while using and this should complete the set up.

Great Smoker

Purchased a few weeks ago.  I am very happy with the product.  Easy to set up and the quality is nice. Produced a nice amount of smoke to produce a very nice smoke ring.  Compared to my Bradley smoker, this one produces more smoke and keeps its temps steady.  As other stated it does emit ash due to the blower, but it is very minimal.  I am no expert, nor pit master, but this smoker makes it very easy....

Awesome pellet grill

So it's been 2 months and I've been smoking like a mad Man.  This was a replacement for an Oklahoma Joe's longhorn.  I always smoked with pure oak and it was very difficult to control the temperature.  This smoker is ridiculously simple.  I've done pulled pork, homemade pastrami,  ribs, and brisket. I was also very pleasantly surprised about the Wi-Fi and wireless. I was able to check the temperatures when I had to go out somewhere just in case. This is for a long smoke on a brisket is pretty handy. I also purchased the sides seer which include a ridiculously large BTU burner.  That burner has been phenomenal for searing sous vide steaks in under a minute.  One thing I did not initially buy was the griddle, but I ordered that and with the sides here burner it is one of the handiest griddles I've ever used, best temperature control over the whole area.  I have a high-end gas stove in the house and it's griddle doesn't come close to how good the temperature control is.  My one recommendation is somehow that I don't have to throw away that shelf and use it or mount it at the bottom. You can see that I made my own modification to put that shelf instead of throwing it away to mount on the bottom.

I honestly don't know why I didn't purchase a smoker a long time ago.  This SmokePro is so great. Everything that we have cooked so far has turned out so great.  We look forward to trying new things every weekend.  Highly recommended!

Best purchase I have ever made!

I have had it about a month now and have cooked/smoked ribs and whole chicken. 

I can safely say this smokes great and because of the convection oven aspect of the grill portion, it makes for very good food. 

It has been reported that these types of grills (pellet grills) do not provide much smoke flavor. I think that is dependent on the brand of grill and which pellets are used. I have gotten fantastic smoke rings on my meat and a superb smoke flavor. Very comparable to my smoker. For the grill portion of it, cutting into the whole chicken, it was pouring out juices. Hands down the juiciest chicken I have experienced. 

The included meat probe is a great inclusion. Simply insert into meat and plug into the control. That allows for  easy checking of what is cooking without opening the lid to look, which would slow down the cook process.

Quick and easy assembly.  Works perfect even in extreme cold weather.  Startup process is a breeze and easy to monitor your meat temperature with the probes.  Would recommend to anyone looking for a pellet grill.

didn't work the 2nd time I used it. It just filled with smoke and I had to shut it down and start over. ItWorked the 3rd time. Also the lid was dented (tweeked) and I didn't notice it until it was put together. The lid doesn't fit tight now.

Slide and Grill Technology for flame searing or slow smoking is in the Description but this grill doesn't have that feature. Also got it put together. went to fill the auger as per instructions  and the auger didn't turn. Put a few pellets in the fire pot and pushed start then the auger turns as long as it is in the start cycle. The temp goes up until it burns what pellets are in the pot then starts cooling down. It will cool down to nothing as there is no more fuel.
