I bought this in Clearwater, Florida two weeks ago.  It was a little chilly there and I used this tape to hold the ruched neck of my long-sleeved T-Shirt up so my neck would stay warm. The Scotch Essentials Tape Strips were sent to me for free by 3M to try and then evaluate. My first occasion to try them was yesterday, as I "dress up" for church. I wore a lighter fabric top since it was so hot, and closed the gap with the tape strip. It's sort of like a band-aid that is sticky on both sides. My skin is sensitive but I did not have a skin reaction to the tape, nor did it make the rayon fabric gooey. Easy on, easy off! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

3M Comes Through

I received this product, without charge, from the manufacturer in exchange for my honest review.
As the mother of a teen, and a woman myself, I can honestly say-these are a must have. Conveniently sized to fit just about anywhere, you can carry them with you to work, school, prom, date night-where ever you might find yourself in need. I put these to the test. Southern heat, dead of summer, working outside in direct sunlight, and in a strapless top about a half size too big- and it held me together for hours in these conditions. Strong enough to stand up to southern heat.

As a home sewer and working professional, I was thrilled to review the Scotch Wardrobe Strips I received free from 3M.  The strips come in a small tin that is re-closable and easily stored in a desk drawer or purse.  Each strip is 3 inches by .5 inches and can be cut with scissors to any desired length, and the box contains 36 strips.  The strips are clear and have a sticky base on both sides.  At work, you can tape fabric to your skin if you have a dress or top with a neckline that shifts, and you can easily tape up a hem until you get home to repair it.  At home, these can be used in the sewing room in cases where pinning fabrics could be problematic or you want to check the drape of fabric in constructing a garment. I tried it on some knit fabrics as well as cotton broadcloth, and the adhesive was strong enough to withstand me moving around and tugging on the fabric.  The strips are easy to apply and remove, and if you are using them in garment construction, you should take care not to iron over them.  Recommended uses include sewing drafting and fitting, wardrobe malfunctions, low neckline/dress opening anchoring, and costume adjustments for actors/dancers. Wardrobe Tape Strips an Essential Quick Fix Tool

I was a bit hesitant to try these strips after I received them from 3M to try for free. I thought that I, as a mom, whose wardrobe consists of mostly tank tops and shorts would not find a use for these, I was completely wrong! These are amazing! Even with tank tops these strips are amazing to use! Easy to apply and the adhesive was wrong throughout the entire day! I used to keep my shirt in place from being pulled down when my little ones are needing me throughout the day. I also was excited to find that I was now able to wear some of my v-neck shirts without exposing myself and regained some of my wardrobe back! These nice enough to keep in your purse so that you can have them incase of any unexpected problems with the wardrobe on the go! They are easy to apply and you don't have to fight with the paper that is attached to the adhesive. They are completely useful and have now become a staple in my purse. They are also helpful to use with my husband and my little boys when issues have arisen! This is my new favorite product of this year! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a must for any one who wears clothes!

Imagine you are dress to kill on that business meeting for a juicy contract. Then running up the stairs your pants hemline get wrapped on your heels... and tore! It looks pretty ugly, it could ruin the impression you want to deliver on the meeting. No time to sew, no pins to fix it. Looking around inside the purse you find  this tiny box of Scotch Essentials Wardrobe Tape Strips, a light at the bottom! Just stick it on the inside of the hemp and voila! Magically fixed, invisible, and in a nick of time!

A lifesaver!!

Easy to use

I received this as a free sample from 3M and I'm pretty satisfied with how they work. I didn't even know that scotch had a brand of wardrobe tape, so I was excited to see how they did. They did well for the job, but I have a few things to bear in mind. 
It is much easier to use these if you apply the strip to the garment first, before putting it on. That being said, the paper peels back easily to revel the clear tape strip. The strips are also much better suited for fabric to fabric holding, not so much fabric to skin. This works great for gaps in button-up shirts and the like, but not so much for keeping a strapless dress up or something of that nature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Pretty Good~

It is just a scotch tape double face. If it was not in a nice sturdy metal box, honestly it is overpriced. I would not buy again.

Not worth for the money

Used this to keep my bra strap from slipping off my shoulder, when i got undressed that night, it ripped any skin that it touched off my shoulder and left me bleeding and in a lot of pain.

It is NOT skin friendly and it ripped my skin off
