I didn’t go, as u wasn’t sure my old tickets would be honored and I think I threw them out. It’s why I won’t buy a ickets now, I spent 1000 on it I let’s for gypsy kings, no communication about new dates or accepting my front row tickets. So, never again will I buy ahead during such a time as now.
Marc Cohn in the Canyon was brilliant. Go and see him live on this tour.
The show was fantastic but the venue was terrible. I'll never go back. Their new food ordering policy held the line up and the room set up was horrible. The chairs were a chair width apart at the tables. There was no room to move. The food went from $25 a plate, to $39 and they never did serve the promised slice of cake. I'll never go back to The Canyon Sanra Clarita again.
We love seeing Marc Cohn live! Especially at The Birchmere. He makes you feel like it’s just you and him sitting in your living room singing great songs! Love the guys he tours with too! Thanks for yet another memorable evening!!
Marc Cohn is a great live performer and I've seen him at the Birchmere several times. His "Walking in Memphis" is one of the best pop songs ever written but Cohn is far from a one-hit wonder. His songs blend blues and classic rock with eloquent, storytelling lyrics. He has a great rapport with his audience and is also very funny.
The Birchmere is a wonderful place to see a show and Marc Cohn always delivers. Fantastic night.
Marc was funny and his voice is still great. Even a few bonus songs at the end.
I have seen Marc three times at The Birchmere and it’s always a great show. We drive 2 hours each way for it. This time I took my 9-year-old daughter (Delilah), and she had a life changing experience. My daughter had never attended a concert, but I noticed that as I listened to his music around the house, she had started singing along. Since I know his show is great I wanted to give her that experience. We ended up sitting close and my daughter was in the front row. Marc noticed her, and gave her the lyric sheets to his parody (Walking in Staten). Then, a few songs later she asked him to sign them (we did not prompt her), he said he'd love to, and an audience member gave him a pen. As if that wasn't enough, he dedicated his last song to her, which was The Things We've Handed Down. It brought tears to the eyes of everyone at our table. Thank you so much Mr. Cohn.
Great to be back hearing live music. What a great venue and artist. He was in fine form, kind to a little kid in the audience.. in good voice and humor, a lovely night.
Loved the show! The Birchmere is a wonderful venue and Mrc C was fabulous!
