La Voile Rose RETURN POLICY (2024)
PURCHASING
Every item purchased is handmade when it is ordered. I do not outsource any of my finished products or specialized services. I personally make every single order by hand. While I keep hundreds of yards of materials on hand, I do not keep finished products on hand.
Incoming orders are prioritized based on the due date the buyer provides along with the advertised turn time per item. Please consider the advertised turn time, plus 4-6 business days for shipping when planning your purchase.
RUSH MY ORDER
If you need your order ready to ship in less than the advertised time, you may be required to pay a rush fee as well as pay for upgraded shipping. A rush fee is based on the item you wish to purchase (namely, how long does that item take for me to make). Rush fees start at $36 USD and can be paid via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. Rush fees are non-refundable.
SHIPPING
All orders ship with USPS Ground, and shipping upgrades are available at checkout. If you prefer a different shipping courier or delivery service, convo with me to arrange the details. While all items ship free with USPS Ground, changing the shipping service may require additional fees. Every item under $250 USD (before tax) is covered with Etsy’s Buyer Protection Program in case there is trouble with the shipping process. Every item over $250 USD (before tax) will be fully ensured with the shipping courier.
Etsy Global Shipping, USPS International and DHL are the services I use for shipping outside the USA. Every international parcel ship comes with tracking and insurance.
All advertised shipping prices are final and non-refundable.
If you are purchasing outside the USA, you may be required to pay import duties. Import duties vary per country, and are based on each country’s laws and regulations. As the buyer, you are the importer and will be required to pay these duties before the parcel is released by Customs. If they duties are not paid, the item may be shipped back to me, and will no longer be eligible for a refund because I must now pay the duties to import it back into my country.
SPECIAL REQUESTS & CUSTOM ORDERS
Any product or service not currently advertised in my Etsy shop will be considered a Special Request. This includes but is not limited to original embroidery like monograms, decorative elements like trim, beading, rhinestones, or appliques; product modifications such as color or size, or specific garment/product designs. Special Requests may include more materials and/or more labor, which means a surcharge may be required. Special Request products and/or services are a final sale, unless otherwise discussed.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
You will have 7 business days from the delivery date to put your purchase back in the mail. You must message me with the return tracking number to confirm your return.
International returns will have the import duties deducted from the refund amount.
Every item is handmade and even though you are returning the materials, you cannot return the time I spent making the item. Therefore, there is a 40% restocking fee applied to every return.
Every parcel will include care instructions and a gift bag, along with the product and any related product items. You may keep the gift bag, but you must include all other original items in your return. You can use the original packaging if it is still in good condition. It is highly recommended that you ensure the parcel for its full retail value. If the parcel is lost or damaged, it will impact the amount I can refund you.
FINAL SALE ITEMS:
Include, but not limited to the following items. Exceptions apply. If an item is not eligible for return, it will be marked on the listing.
- Upgraded postage and international postage
- Rush fees
- Fabric yardage, fabric swatches, Special Requests, and Bespoke items
- Any product marked as “Final Sale” or “End of Season”

Custom and personalized orders
How much is a cutsom design?
Pricing is based on material cost, labor time, and shipping costs. I need to have these details before I can give a price on a bespoke item.
Why was my order cancelled?
If you do not provide all the required information when purchasing an item, you will receive a DM from La Voile Rose. If I do not receive a reply from you and are unable to complete your order, your order will be cancelled. If you include an unreasonable due date and do not upgrade your shipping, you will receive a DM asking you to do so. If you do not reply or refuse to upgrade, your order may be subject to cancellation. La Voile Rose is not responsible for orders that arrive late because the buyer did not select the appropriate shipping.
