Cody Jinks on Tour
Seeing Cody Jinks onstage, you get a sense of what it must've felt like to catch outlaw country legends like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson back in the 1970s when their raw-boned brand of country music was hitting folks for the first time. Jinks brings his deep, rich voice to bear on tunes that manage to incorporate those influences while still feeling completely current. Jinks has as much rock 'n' roll in him as country, and you're as likely to hear him and his band cover songs by the likes of Dire Straits and Pink Floyd as you are to catch them playing tunes made famous by country giants like Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley. Either way, a Cody Jinks concert is first and foremost a party, where the whole audience gets involved in singing along and creating an atmosphere of fun and community.
Cody Jinks in Concert
Hailing from the Fort Worth suburb of Haltom City, Texas, Cody Jinks has forged a sound that bears strong links to fellow Texans like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. But even though classic outlaw country is a huge influence on Jinks, he actually started out as a rocker. Long before he ever became a country singer, he was the frontman for a metal band called Unchecked Aggression in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. He tapped into his deep country roots and reinvented himself in the late '00s, but the raw, rebellious spirit of rock 'n' roll will always be a part of Jinks' musical makeup. He released his first album in 2008 and gradually built up a grassroots following over the years. By the time he put out Lifers a decade later, his audience had grown to the point that the record made it to the No. 2 spot on the country charts, proving there's still a place in country music for rough-hewn individualism.

Trampled by Turtles, Turnpike Troubadours, and Cody Jinks….we love you guys! What a fantastic show y’all put on! We felt so energized afterward! Can’t wait til the next time we get to see you. 🤩😃❤️
What a great performer and his music is legendary!!
Really enjoyed the show, the music quality of all three artists was excellent. My only complaints is that Cody Jinks wasn't on stage long enough, he didn't come on until very late and unfortunately that meant some people had to leave.
We really went to see Turnpike Troubadours. Unfortunately, their sound team was awful. The mixing was soooo off. Everything was noise overwhelmed by bass. We could barely make out which songs they were playing, and we've been huge TT fans for years and know all the words to most of their music. On top of that the light bar at the front of the stage was aimed DIRECTLY at the second level. Everybody up there was blinded for half the show. Maybe the sound and lights were great from the floor? Maybe the sound and light engineers never went upstairs to see how half the arena would experience the show? When Cody Jinks came on, there were different stage lights and a whole new mixing board setup, and his show sounded great! Anyway, the Troubadours are awesome and we'd give them another shot. Hope they hear about this.
there is about 300 stars down to the floor level. not a huge deal, but i was injured and there was no ada elevator to use
Cody was EXCEPTIONAL. Love him. The acoustics could have been a little better. Overall, not gonna complain one bit.
The opening acts were solid and clear. I fell in love with Trampled by Turtles. I was already familiar with Turnpike Troubadours. They were all fantastic. I took my father of 81 years and he loved the rocking and rhythm of all the songs. Cody Jinks came out lights out and finished with a boom. Amazing artists and I loved this show!
Cody Jinx was great! My first time seeing him in concert and I hope it’s not my last.
The bands were awesome and sounded great. I think it took to long between TPT and Cody for set up and cut into Mr. Jinks playing time.
