    • Cleans without stripping: Contains no harsh detergents that strip your hair of its natural protective oils. A natural alternative for psoriasis shampoo or dandruff shampoo. Sulfate free, silicone free, and paraben free

    • A transition period may occur when switching to a natural shampoo bar. Some users experience heavy, dull, or greasy hair during this interim. Why? Commercial shampoos contain detergents and silicones to make hair shiny. It takes time for your scalp to adjust to its natural oil production and to work built-up residue out of your hair. Transition Tip: use an Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse to help condition and reduce tangles in the transition period.

      1. Wet hair and then remove from running water
      2. Wet shampoo bar and glide across scalp and hair
      3. Massage hair and scalp with hands and fingertips
      4. Return hair to water and thoroughly rinse out lather
      5. Tip: For drying long hair, gently hand squeeze water out and then cover with a towel. Rubbing hair dry can cause tangles

Still trying to figure out how to make sure my hair isn't greasy

The shampoo bars we purchased were packaged perfectly, and eco friendly, which I appreciate a lot! The smells are great! My boyfriend has short hair and works outside so it works really well to clean and degrease. I however, am still trying to figure out how to use the bar so that I don't look like I have greasy hair afterwards. Love the support emails that we received afterwards letting us know why this happens and some tips to try.

Greasy no more!

I have SUPER oily hair. Like, RIDICULOUSLY oily hair. With most other shampoos I've used, I can feel my hair getting greasy by early afternoon. Some have done well but were too expensive to keep. After my first bar, I set up auto-delivery because I'm not going back. It's the real deal. My hair feels clean and it is SO soft when it dries.

Makes my hair greasy!

I've been on a hunt for my favorite eco friendly shampoo bar. I've tried about 4 different brands before The Yellow Bird, and I love the dry shampoo so I figured I'd give their bar a shot. This was absolutely the worst one I've tried. It left my hair completely greasy even after double cleansing. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but no other brand I've tried has left my strands greasy and like they are built up with an insane amount of product. I've used the bar 3 times and each time has been the same result. I really wanted to love this product since they are so eco friendly

Thicker hair

I feel like my hair is thicker and healthier. I appreciate also that there is no plastic.
