This one is described as being &quot;silver&quot; color. Does that mean that this is the unpainted stainless steel finish?

The inside is however I&#39;ve used mine in the dishwasher and it&#39;s now 3\4 purple the color coating is peeling off the outside. So if you want to keep it pretty I wouldn&#39;t recommend the dishwasher.

The Bottle it's excellent, I really enjoy the design, all features tested and past with flying colors! Very practical with the auto seal and the one hand operation but the purple color finish it's TERRIFIC! my wife loves it and my mother in law just by seen it wanted me to get one for her; hers is in blue and she couldn't wait to show it to her friends. I've had my Contigo travel mug for over 10 years and this thing has not let me down. I do t use it all the time but when I do get in my kicks where I'm drinking coffee this keeps my coffee hot and spill proof for hours. Sometimes there will be some pressure that builds up so don't have it pointing at your face when pushing the button. I will usually put it up to my mouth first if I'm in my car so it don't spit coffee all over. If I'm out and about I'd let it vent away from me.

I LOVE Contigo West Loop mugs. This is my 4th, not because they wear out, but because I have one for everywhere… home, work, car, water, coffee/tea. My only issue is this one is a little hard to screw the lid closed tight (I have arthritis). Not terrible, as long as it remains spill-proof, which it has, I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Hot beverages stay HOT for hours. I've used this for tea and coffee & VERY happy with how it maintains the beverage temp. The lid has a lock so you can carry it inside a bag/purse assuring the button won't be accidentally pushed. Completely leak proof! I've carried mine to work in a tote bag without incident. I'm going to get another so I have one exclusively for coffee. Love it! Only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because the 24oz. cup doesn't have a slip proof grip and doesn't quite fit my beverage holder (of my 2004 Ford). I added some silicone bands around the middle of mine as an improvised anti-slip grip.

Keeps coffee HOT for HOURS!

I found this and it works perfect for my classic and vintage vehicles that don't have cup holders. No, it's not what you think- try 1983 Escort. The economy is tough and it's paid off.  It. Does. Not. Leak. Or. Spill. Anything.   I drove past it twice a day for almost  two weeks- it was sitting in the ditch of a county road so I grabbed it, took it home and cleaned it up. It likely fell off of somebody's flatbed when they were checking their cattle on cornstalks but despite the dent, it's pretty good. I don't know how this was taken care of  before I found it but I don't know if it keeps this warm for 7-8 hours, especially if you are outside. I took it hunting and it was nice just to shove in a pocket someplace and have something warmish to drink all morning.

Best Thing I've Found In The Ditch Yet

Shipping was on time, main body is well made, does as advertised ...but the seal rubber piece will not stay in the seal release arm. This little rubber special shaped piece that closes the drinking hole has fallen off since we received the mug. The past mug we owned was not like this at all. To bad you went cheap on the new gen. sorry 2 stars only.
