Disconnects
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disconnects easy from a stationary laptop. Completely useless if the laptop is moving. It is a design flaw.

Good if it works ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There're two reasons why I chose this product over the authentic Apple power supply / charger. The first reason is that the USB C cable is permanently attached to the power supply. I wanted a power supply that I could connect to my USB C hub that I use with my late 2017 MacBook Pro on my desk. Therefore, if I traveled with my computer, I would not have to unplug the power supply. What I found with the Apple power supply is that sometimes the USB C cable can come loose under the desk. Having a permanently fixed cable solves this problem. The second reason is that this 90 W power supply cost a fraction of the cost of the Apple power supply. The median for my title is that the first power supply I bought did not work and I had to exchange it in the store. I told the clerk in the store that I would like a second one, but to please test it before I leave so that I make sure it is working. Based on other customer reviews, I would recommend anyone who buys this product to test it works. My experience is that these types of products can be DOA. If there's going to be a problem with the power supply, it is probably going to be DOA. My last comment is the size of the power supply. If you are going to travel with the power supply and do not need 90 W of power, I would suggest hey different model because this one is large. If you are going to leave it under a desk such as I do, the size should not matter.

Works as good as my original charger
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an HP Spectre and I needed a charger that would be stationary. This worked perfectly and I have not had any issues out of it. Way cheaper than how much HP wanted to charge for a replacement (if you can find one) and is the only charger I have found that delivers the 90W necessary like the original charger. The cable is a little short but for my needs, it works.

Excellent high power charger
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I left my Lenovo ThinkPad charger at a company office I don't regularly go to. Since this office was over an hour away I ran to BestBuy which had this on sale. I have been using this as my Home Office changer since. I got the Lenovo charger back 2 weeks later and keep it in my laptop bag. This charger works a lot faster as the origional is 65 watts. I do feel the cord is short and wish it used a USB-C connector from the base instead, but you don't have to worry about plugging the small UCB-C connect out on accident. It is also very big to be plugged into and hanging off a wall outlet. An extra USB-C port would have been nice. Overall still a very good charger.

Good Item, one draw back!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item on sale to keep with my laptop in my bag for a charge if needed for my Lenovo Yoga 920. I use it sparingly in the office to get a full charge before a meeting, the plug folds back and is compact. The cable coming out of the charger which plugs directly into the wall or extension cord is only 5 feet, just a little to short, I had to buy a usb c extension cord of 3 ft to make this work, this adapter should have a 7 to 8 ft cord.

Functional charger for MacBook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to save a few dollars by getting the off-brand charger for my backup charger instead of the Mac branded one. It does the trick, though it can be a bit finicky when plugging in. Sometimes, I have to adjust the wire a bit before the computer tells me it's charging. Once it's plugged in, it works fine. I recommend it as a money-saving alternative for Type-C chargers (I have a late 2013 MacBook.)

So far, so good but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No problems thus far using this as the main power adapter for my HP Spectre X360 (whose own charger completely fell apart after one accidental kick). It does what it's supposed to do and feels solid in the places it should feel solid. I initially purchased an open box unit though that was DOA. Not sure if this was just an isolated incident with my local Best Buy, but I do wonder about the longevity of this product. Only time will tell. On the plus side, when I returned the DOA unit this item had gone on sale, so I was actually able to exchange it and even get a slight refund. I think if you can get it on sale then it's a real easy choice, especially given the limited number of USB-C laptop chargers currently available at brick & mortar stores. Hopefully it will hold up over time!
