I have never used Flour Sack towels before, so I was a little curious as to how they would work and feel.
I received the flour sack towels packaged as pictured, 100% cotton, and have a good thickness. They are not see through at all. The seams on all 4 sides are finished. They wear well and dry dishes exceptionally, So I was glad to ditch the Terry towels and invest in these kitchen workhorses!
I have been use to using Terry cloth towels my entire life, so it was a pleasant surprise to find how well
They hold up for drying the dishes and pots and pans.
They are very absorbent and because of their thickness they can be used a long time Before being thrown into the Washing machine. Once washed these Flour sack towels dry well on light dry setting in the dryer.

These towels are very soft coming out of the dryer. Fabric softener tends to leaves a residue that smears glass and crystal. So I don't use it with these towels, We also rely on these towels to dry our fragile items after being hand washed.
So I would definitely recommend these type of flour Sack towels because of the heavy duty makeup and because they wash up very well.

Flour Sack Towels

These definitely come in handy around the house. I wish I had these a long time ago. I use these to clean up around the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Theyre 100% cotton and super durable as theyve been washed and used a lot. Theyre big enough and so useful. I'd highly recommend these as a household staple.

The 12 flour sack kitchen towels are fantastic.
They are 31" square. They are a fantastic size for getting everything done. They are great for sifting, keeping baked items warm, and even cleaning purposes. They are not thick like a traditional hand towel. They are thin but because they are large you could still wipe down ur wet hands or counters or a spill.

I like that they are solid white and can be bleached clean should they get dirty or dingy from use.

The 12 pack is great so you never run out in between washing. Or if you are baking or cooking for a large party and need to keep a lot of items warm. Tons of uses!

I would definitely recommend them.

Great set of towels!

I love these towels! I got them to use in both my kitchen and my RV. They're soft but very absorbent. They wash very well and dry quickly. They don't leave lint on glasses or on my kitchen silverware. 

I was expecting something much smaller and was pleasantly surprise to find they are large (about 31 inches or so squared) and have been hemmed on all 4 sides. I use 6 for drying dishes and glasses, 3 for baking and 3 for general cleaning.

They stand up well to my bleaching them both to remove stains and to sanitize. Usually my terrycloth towels shred after a few bleachings and then leave even more lint on my glasses. These don't do that. 

I was also pleased to find that when baked goods are wrapped in them, they stay warm and the towel absorbs the condensation so my bread and rolls don't get soggy. LOVE THESE!

Very, very nice kitchen towels.

I had never had a flour sack towel before receiving one from Spark Reviewer, but I am now wondering why I never found these before! They are one of the most versatile kitchen products I've ever had. Note that these are not super absorbent, but they are not regular towels.

These are great for when you can't find your potholder but need to put a hot plate down, fold one of these up and you are good to go. Also, if you have a freshly baked item, and you want to cover it, but still let it air out, these are great. They are also great for drying silverware and making sure their are no water spots on them. They are also useful as a place mat for a messy child to spread around their plate to catch the worst of the mess. 

They are easy to wash, and do not collect lint. I'm starting to use them as paper towel alternatives, so hopefully that will save a little on cost in the environment because they don't take up much room in the wash.

Where have these been all my life?

Sometimes, the old ways are the good ways, so I've ditched my microfiber clothes for these classic kitchen towels. My first test was to wash all but one of them, then compare. There's absolutely no shrinkage or change in the towels after washing and drying. They are large - for drying dishes they are easily doubled, still leave enough fabric to handle the dish through the towel, and absorb right away. You can dry a lot of dishes with one towel. Once saturated, they can be unfolded so that they dry quickly on a towel rod or hook. The other job I like these for is washing produce. They are large enough so that you can spread out plenty of lettuce leaves, veggies or fruit, and the excess moisture is immediately wicked away. 
Now, I know they are quite plain, however, they are working towels, not show towels. And I think that they do their job very well.

Flour Sack Towels are the Best

This towels seem really useful for someone who is in the kitchen and cooks often, but I am not a culinary genius in the kitchen - I just make quick and simple easy meals. I would only have use for the towels to clean with, but they are thin and white, so they get dirty very easily. They are very large and I know that most households/restaurants would have an amazing purpose for these but they're just not for me or my household. Excellent quality though!

They're Just Not For Me..

I have been looking for something like this to use for baking. I have been capturing and baking with my own yeast/starter, and I needed something to cover my recipes while they went through the rising process. I have kitchen towels, but I do not have anything that does not hold lint and debris which can and does easily transfer to whatever I'm baking. I was glad to get to try these towels to see just how well they worked for me. I was pleasantly surprised to discover just how much easier something so simple could make my time in the kitchen. These towels are pretty basic, but they are a major help. They are white with a simple stitched edge. They are made to be sturdy and not fray easily. And lint is nonexistent. I did wash them before using which is recommended. I wouldn't want to use them without knowing they were clean. They are large. I mean about double or triple the size I needed to cover two loaf pans. So I'm sure this would work for covering something made on a sheet pan. They have essentially no lint that I've experienced so far. They are really large. They make cooking, baking, and other kitchen chores a breeze.

Works Like a Charm

These are great towels for cleaning up about anything you can think of. I especially like using them to clean windows and mirrors. There is no lint at all left on the surfaces. I put some in my car. I use them in the bathroom and the kitchen. With two little ones, there is plenty to clean up...and using just water will usually do the job. If I had a complaint, it would be the size. They are really large towels. I'm considering cutting them into fours.

Great multi-purpose towels

These arrived today. I put them in the washer on a quick load cycle. Virtually every single one of the 12 now has shredded seams, threads literally hanging off the towels.  I'm having to take a sharp scissors and carefully cut off everything that's dangling. These towels literally unraveled on the first, quick wash (my cycle for delicates!).  WORST QUALITY product that I have ever bought from Walmart.
