I researched the product before I bought it. I saved about $60.00 off the regular price and it’s works very well. I watched everything sous vide for cooking ideas.

This is the real deal!  I used this to cook med. rare steaks.  It was the best steaks I've ever cooked.

It works as advertised and was a great gift idea.

Excellent quality and very easy to operate. Maintains exact temperature. My first cook was a ribeye steak and it was the best Steak I've ever cooked!  ever!  I cooked it to medium rare all the way through and then seared it in a cast iron skillet with butter and herbs. My Weber gas barbecue was out on the back patio crying and is afraid of being abandoned! Only downside is you must plan ahead as it takes longer to cook, but it is definitely well worth it!

Why did I wait so long?

Really a simple device for exact foolproof cooking.  The food is always done to the exact temp one sets.  Never over or under cooked.  Just follow the time and temp recommendation that come with it or one the web.

Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker

Wow! Chicken breast was juicy and delicious. Followed directions on the Anova app. Fixed NY strip steak for my family. Followed the directions  - 130 degrees for 1 hour. This was THE MOST DELICIOUS medium rare steak ever. Searing all sides in the HOT cast iron fry pan took less than 2 minutes and turned out a high-end restaurant quality steak! I'm a believer!

Perfect protein

Item does what is advertised.  Even cooking all through and edges.  Very forgiving if left longer than directed. I've only used once and followed people's direction on YouTube.  I didn't spice/flavor enough before cooking.  When I seared the steak. it was bland.  I like the heavy char on my grilled steak.  I did't get that.  I will salt heavier during sear next time. Steak was perfect medium rare.  I would buy it again.

First time Sous Vide

Great device just make sure the base is on properly or it will hit the prop, pulled pork has never been easier.

Great device

The machine works fine.  But the app and Bluetooth just will not work at all.  The app and Bluetooth will not work at all after first use.   The only way to get cooking times is to delete the app turn off Bluetooth  reload the app and then use.   This must be done every time to read directions for cooking.  The Bluetooth controls do not work at all.  Plus trying to use freezes my iPhone.   That being said the sous vide works on manual fine.   From what I read this was from new ownership and recent updates.  This was a good brand but I wish I had not bought, new ownership has trashed it.

I've read some good reviews on this product.  Perhaps I just got a bad egg.  Item had rust on it, right out of the box.  Did not function correctly.  Current temperature reading not working.  Returning for refund.
