10.5" Stoneware Reactive Glaze Dinner Plate - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

I adore this set! They are absolutely beautiful and great quality. I love that they are perfectly imperfect. One of my favorite things in my new kitchen.

Garbage. I’ve had this maybe 3 weeks and one is already severely chipped, missing an entire chunk. I’m an adult who is very careful with dishes. I’ve had the same other set of dishes for over 20 years without one chip. However, the Hearth and Hand brand is such horrible quality that this lasted me all of 3 weeks. I hand washed so the dishwasher isn’t to blame. Terrible quality and a waste of money.

Love the quality and the modern tone it sets on my table setting.

I'm thoroughly annoyed. We received two bowls of the same set that were wrapped in so much packaging that I had to cut it away in layers. Upon receiving the plates however they were put into a extremely large box with air bags on only one side so they could still bang around in the over sized box. Opened them up and two of them are split into two pieces.

These are very cute plates and look exactly like they do in the pictures. They seem very durable but I can also see how they could easily chip if you’re not careful with them which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

I ordered the plates in the gray color option because the image presented under that choice appeared more lighter with brown edges. Unfortunately, when they arrived, the color and style did not match my expectations—this was the first issue. The second issue was with the quantity: I ordered five packs at once but only received four. In a separate order I chose different plate design and color and one of the plates in the shipment arrived damaged, and two were missing entirely. Overall, my experience with Target’s shipping and online ordering process has been terrible. Between the misleading product images, incomplete order fulfillment, and damaged goods, I am left deeply dissatisfied. I hope Target improves its processes to prevent issues like this in the future.

I purchased these as part of our new dish set. They are great. Heavy weight, don't seem to scratch (even cutting on them), and I've had no issues in the dishwasher. No chipping whatsoever and we've been using them for like 6 months now. I will say, you might want to pick your own out at the store if you're picky, I noticed there were some color and shape variations but that also adds to the more rustic feel.

Love the design just haven’t had them long enough to know the durability.

Cute but poor quality will chip like crazy

I really love the color and the handmade appeal of these plates. I have a whole set of them. The other reviewers are correct - they are fairly easy to chip unfortunately. I’ve had them about two years now and I’m just now noticing chips here and there.

These plates are undeniably beautiful—their design has a charming, rustic appeal, with a purposely uneven shape that gives them a handmade, artisanal look. The subtle imperfections in the form make them visually interesting and unique. However, it's clear they're mass-produced, as every plate has the same uniform unevenness. While the design adds character, it also means they don’t stack perfectly unless you line them up just right, which can be a bit annoying if you like to line things up perfectly like I do. Unfortunately, like many other reviews have noted, these plates chip far too easily. Despite their aesthetic appeal, the durability leaves something to be desired. After just a few uses, I noticed small chips on the edges, which is disappointing for something so lovely. If you’re looking for plates that are more than just decorative, you may want to keep that in mind.

Wanted to love these and I do love them but they are NOT scratch resistant. I have not had them long and every plate is scratched from normal use.

I would not get this shipped to your home, ever. I ordered these dinner plates, one set of 4 plates and when it came 2 of the plates were broken. I reported it to Target and they sent me another set free of charge and that package came broken as well. I’m extremely disappointed. Might as well but Walmarts version of these.

These plates are perfect. The color matches my decor and always like stoneware products.

I bought a set of eight of these, along with salad and desert plates, bowls, mugs, etc. four years ago. They have held up well until I recently chipped two of the dinner plates. So, I decided to order another set of four dinner plates when they finally became available again. They arrived and ARE WAAAAAY SMALLER than the original dinner plates o purchased. Seriously?!!!! They aren’t salad plate size but they are closer to that than dinner plate size. What garbage!!! I used to love Hearth and Hand but it seems they have gone the way of everyone else once they become rich and famous. Sad.

Echoing a previous review that the size and weight has changed. We had a full set that, yes, chips quite easily. We started purchasing the set maybe around 2019 - 2020? I recently purchased a few new ones to replace the ones that had chipped. They are absolutely not the same size or weight that they used to be. It’s noticeable and now whenever we stack them, we’ll have to make a point to stack the new ones last or it will throw off the balance of the entire thing. Consistency really struggles here. For reference, the left hand plate in my photo is an older run, the right hand plate is the new one.

Love the style but they chip way too easily.

These plates are absolutely beautiful and of high-quality as well. You can tell just by holding them that they are not cheap and flimsy. I can’t believe what a low price they were.
