Absolutely. Just don't install the drawer sliders on the sides of the open area under the desktop, where the chair would go. The pre-drilled holes are very small -- you won't notice them.

yes, you could leave it off and you'd never know it was missing.

There are small homes for the tracks for the keyboard tray. Can you notice them? A little bit but I wouldn't think it would be a eyesore.

It doesn't look that bad; although, depending on the color you purchase (natural, white, etc) you will notice the tracks for sliding the keyboard. The tracks on a black desk will not be as noticeable.

If you are asking if the desk has some type of fixture that will be seen if you leave off the tray, the answer is no. Its absolutely doable. All you would need to do is avoid that step of the construct. I wanted to place PC tower under the drawer so I didn't use shelf attachment.

Yes, it can. That is exactly what we did. Just skip that step when assembling. The predrilled holes will be visible but you can use probably fill them with some wood filler or just leave them as is. I personally don't think it takes away from the visual of the desk.

Yes it would if the base of TV is not to wide as the shelf is not very wide.

I think a small flatscreen would fit on the hutch. It is 42 inches wide like the desk and about 6 inches deep.

You don't want to do that. The hutch is narrow not bolted on - there are 4 holes (2 at each end) in the hutch and the desk, and it connects with a peg in each of the holes. You can lift the hutch right off. I would not trust it with anything heavier than books and pencils.

Not sure, but I can tell you that the measurement of the hutch is 6" deep (wide).

The hutch top is only 6" wide....don't know for sure.

Sure will. I have a 24' and speakers sitting together on my hutch.

I got this desk for my 8 year old daughter. She loved. Is very steady and have a lot the space for her books and draws. Fits nice under her loft bed and still extra space.
