A: AnswerYou have to install the Logitech gaming software app but yes, I hate the distracting rainbow myself, I set mine to a solid blue color instead, you can choose pretty much any RGB color any varying effects or just solid. Alternatively you could turn the lighting off completely. You cant control each key individually but you can set sections of the keyboard to different colors.Answered by ADean

Logitech Prodigy keyboard
My HP laptop keys started malfunctioning and I was unable to fix it at home. While I am not a gamer, I am an old guy who hammers the keys and felt that a keyboard made for gamers might withstand my heavy handedness. It is brand new so I have limited use on it, but I like the tactile nature of the keys. The wrist pad is very nice, too. I have included a picture. I suppose I am not the demographic Logitech has in mind (although I am a longtime, several model, fan of their mice) Having the keyboard where it is makes the screen the right distance away for me, too. My daughter will be jealous.

My son loves it
Satisfying clicks. The Logitech app allows you to customize the key colors. There are five different zones, allowing each zone to be a different color, all the same, or a combination, or off completely. You can also map the keys to your preference. There is no noticeable latency, and the game mode button ensures you don't accidentally hit the Windows key.
