The G30 Edge and the G30 Version are the same in performance. The Version version version comes with 1 roll of boundary strip and the Edge version comes with 2 rolls of boundary strips.

Long story short my son-in-law moved in with us recently and I saw the box when we were moving his stuff but it was another brand more expensive and I said can I try it? He said shure and I was sold the thing his was kind of expensive so I researched and I came across this one and I’m very happy I did bought it and I’m using it every day.

If you have pets you’ll love it.

I’m really pleased with this robovac. It does map as it goes so it finds it was home easily. It doesn’t remember the floor plan but it’s movements are more calculated and it doesn’t get stuck in one place. I haven’t had any issues with it getting stuck anywhere or sucking anything up. If even pushes up against my Christmas tree skirt without it getting stuck. The suction is great and the debris compartment is plenty large. It also cleans for 45  minutes. It’s able to clean all 1000 sq ft of my bottom floor and make it’s way home with plenty of battery life left. 10/10, would recommend to friends and family.

Works as stated, loving this robovac!

I absolutely love it, saves me from
 having to get the vacuum out everyday and move the cord from plug to plug which I can't stand doing, perfect for pesky little crumbs that my daughter leaves. It's a lifesaver and perfect for a busy mom. If you doubt it's suction power at first I'd say let it do the mapping of your home like it should and adjust the suction as you like or better yet use the boost IQ mode so it knows where which type of flooring is in your home and will adjust as it vacuums.

Get it if you hate moving from plug to plug!

I've had a few robot vacuums over the past few years. I've tried the big names like Neato D-Vacs / Roombas ($400-$700 range) and I found that while they had great suction power and capacity, their navigation abilities made them useless. All the cleaning power in the world means nothing if your robot vacuum never makes it back to it's base to charge and you're stuck hunting for it to carry it home everyday. 

I got this Eufy G30 Verge on a special buy price of $169 down from the usual $350, and it absolutely blows all of the other robot vacuums I've tried out of the water. It's very deceiving when you first fire it up since it's extremely thin and makes very little noise. I actually tried feeding it a couple dust bunnies to make sure it was on because it was so quiet. Despite this, 30mins into letting it map my house, I had to empty the dust bin because it was full..... with dust and hair (as seen in the pic).... that was still on my floor without me being able to see it after manually vacuuming the day before. It ran for about an hour and generated a full map of my 1000 square foot condo before heading back directly to it's dock to charge. You can watch it generate the map using the app, and you can see that it uses that map to navigate your home perfectly. It moved in clean lines and then shot to areas of the condo that had missing boundaries on the map to fill in the data. Its very clear watching this bot move that it's far more intelligent than non-mapping bots, especially those that just bump around forever. 

SUMMARY
The compact and stylish Eufy G30 Verge is the king of navigating homes and always making it back to its dock. While it may lack the power and capacity of some of it's larger robot vacuum rivals such as the Neato D-Bot or Samsung models, it is more than capable of ridding your low-pile carpet and hard floors of hair and dust. Although I wouldn't recommend this for homes with operating areas larger than 1000 square feet or large levels of hair and debris like food, this is the perfect bot vac for areas less than 1000 square feet that is generally clean but you would like to maintain. This isn't a miracle worker that can deep clean your floors, but with a price tag of under $200 it's an absolute steal.

The King of Navigation

i've had a Roomba for about 10 years and decided to try this brand.  OMG it's an awesome cleaning machine.  i run both vacuums at the same time to see how much each picks up and the eufy vac is handsdown ten tmes better at vacuuming.  it's also extremely quiet.  it's low profile gets under the sofa and loveseat without getting stuck.  we have two cats that shed alot and the amount of hair this vacuum picks up is amazing plus the dry cat food they scatter. the photos are the dirt collectors of the two vacuums.  anker is the first picture, roomba the second.  you can see the anker vac picked up way more dirt.

one awesome robot vacuum

my old cheap robovac did a better job of cleaning even though it was very stupid. this vac has about the same suction as the old one which is 4 years old now.  the sweeping arm on this new one is weak where the old one had two sweeping arms that did a decent job . the only thing that's better about this one is that it handles obstacles better. I have not connected it to the application by wifi because they never answered my question about how you find out what the MAC number is. the only thing I like is that it is slim enough to go underneath my furniture.

Pros It starts as scheduled and finally finds way to charger.  Cons:  It does Not pickup very well at all. Hair gets on brush then drops off in  the floor or have pull off brush.

Moves dirt around

The Eufy G30 is a decent value for what I paid. It was easy to set up, and app is user friendly. I cleaned my robot daily, changed filters and made sure it was always free of debris. While the robot did its job daily after 6 months of use it fell into an error state and would no longer work. I tried going on youtube to see if i could figure it out on my own but no luck. I then reached out to customer service and they just asked me some basic questions about how the robot looked. I answered all of them and they really didn't have anything worthy of fixing it besides telling me to turn it on and off, that didn't help..... like all my electronic purchases I keep the original box and warranty for a year in case something like this happens. As you can see in my pictures, in case a return needs to happen. I purchased this from Walmart and paid cash. Eufy Customer service told me that they would replace the robot for a new one, all I had to do was respond to an email with: pictures of my robot, shipping address and my receipt of purchase. I explained I do not have my receipt as it's been 6 months since purchase but I do have the original box and warranty card. They wouldn't budge after several emails with management. If you don't have your receipt you're out of luck. My 2 cents on this company is to STAY AWAY. Spend a little more and buy from a trusted manufacturer that stands by their products and lasts more than 6 months.

Decent product, subpar company. 6 months now Dead

This thing worked incredibly well for the first 3-5 months then suddenly died. Battery issues left and right. Customer Service is AI ran, so works well enough if you follow instructions to send receipt, serial number, and video of issue at hand. Did all the requested and received a new battery via mail. New battery has exact same issue. 

Beyond frustrating and I didn't purchase this for a deal but full retail from Walmart around summer 2023. AI is not helpful with 2nd contact to customer service. Wasted time and money.

What a bummer.

This is the second Eufy G30 Verge we purchased from WalMart in the last 4 days. We returned the first one because of an S1 battery error. I tried to get help from Eufy live chat, and they said they would need to talk to a technician and would get back to me in 24 hours. So now, we have bought a second one from WalMart with the same issue and the same response from Eufy!!! This is unacceptable, as it seems to be a recurring issue with this model and brand. I strongly suggest you look at other brands before purchasing anything from Eufy/Anker!
