Its a little too chatty for me... lots of alerts. The VPN is slower than slow... and pointless on banking sites. But overall, love the router and BitDefender.

Been had this router for over 2 years and it has never let me down everything is easier if you download the nighthawk app never had any issues with it.

NETGEAR AC1750 Smart WiFi Router (R6400v2)

I've owned this product since around Thanksgiving of 2018. It is still doing great. We have 1GB up and down internet. This router handles the load of 7 smart TVs, 4 Xbox Ones, 5 Nintendo Switches, 5 cellphones, 6 computers, and other miscellaneous devices, and we have almost never had lag. (The only time we did was when I didn't install the latest router update. Once I updated it, no more issues.) I got it on a Black Friday sale and paid half price. Honestly, it was well worth what I paid and then some. It was worth full price in my opinion. Honestly, just a pretty great router. I'll cry if it ever quits working or becomes obsolete, but, until that day, this router is my best friend on the daily. 10/10 - Would definitely buy again.

I have the night hawk app, but don’t have the parental features showing in my app. Please help!

Where are the parental controls?

Purchased this router in 2020 and it has consistently worked without any issues. This is a very nice router and was a huge upgrade for our home. It was very easy to install and has a lot of nice features and the Netgear Genie app allows you to monitor and control your router easily from your smartphone or computer.

NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1750 Smart WiFi Router

Seems to be working as it should, the setup was easy but I wasn't able to set a custom administrator password. Maybe because it's an older model, had trouble setting up the parental controls but they seem to be working now but we've had it for 5 years and it's still running

Support couldn't identify my problem-- I discovered firmware update *requires* one to download and use the mobile app to restore http access to admin pages from a desktop chrome browser.  4 stars.

Useful admin tools

The router when properly working (78% of the time ) consistently provides 115gbts wich is very nice the issue is that it seems to have plenty of flaws leading to random connection failures fairly often but when ran as the second router in a parallel circuit it seems to be reliable so some patience will be needed
