First things first - sign up for your free account on our website!

Once you verify your account by setting a password, you can start a new project and upload your photos/videos using the website or our iOS App. Simply select the package that works best for you and follow the on-screen prompts.

For an optimized upload experience:

• • Use a strong/fast Wi-Fi connection
• • Have a good battery charge and/or plug your device into a power source
• • Keep the app open/active
• • Note: If you accidentally close the app, or your iPhone times-out the app (because of low battery/Wi-Fi), the upload will pause until conditions improve and/or you open the App back up again. Then the upload will pick up where it left off!

PERMISSION SETTINGS: If prompted to set permissions for the App, be sure to select “Allow All Photos” for the easiest upload process. Our App will only access the files you specifically select during your upload process, but this setting saves multiple steps by allowing access to all photos, versus a multi-step pre-selecting process.

Uploading through the website is slightly different because it uses a web browser. For an optimized upload experience:

• • Use a strong/fast Wi-Fi connection
• • Keep your browser window open until all files are uploaded (Check on-screen status box)
• • If you accidentally close the window, lose Wi-Fi, or the screen goes to sleep – it will interrupt the upload progress. If that happens – just select the files to upload again, and our system will remove any duplicates that were previously successfully uploaded!
• • If you find the upload is going slowly, it is most likely because the process is limited by your available browser memory. To solve for this, refresh the page, and try uploading in smaller batches to ensure you have enough bandwidth to process them smoothly.
• • The website works on all browsers, however, users have told us Safari & Chrome work best

CLOUD STORAGE UPLOAD: Most Android phones will let you upload directly from your Cloud platforms (like Google Photos). However, if you are uploading from a computer and your files are in a cloud storage platform - you first have to save a copy of the Cloud files to your computer. Create a temporary folder on your desktop and download the files from your Cloud. Then, when you start your project on URLIFE and you get to the upload prompt on our website, you will easily be able to select the folder of files from your desktop.

Trying to upload without a Wi-Fi connection may result in charges to your mobile account, depending on your data plan.

Absolutely! If your content is in multiple places, you can start your project on the iOS app and save it, and then sign into the website (or another phone!) to continue uploading additional content. If uploading from your computer, make sure to save the content to your computer first - before trying to upload to the website. (More on this above - in the question about uploading on the website.)

The Hollywood Movie offers hands-on, personal project management and concierge services with a Senior Producer. Whether you decide to communicate by call or in-app, your Producer will work closely with you to learn the highlights of your story and the personal style preferences you’d like for your finished movie. It also includes additional high-level editing not included with the Recap – things like visual effects, narration (upon request), use of HD stock and drone footage of your location, and a round of edits.

For Hollywood Custom Projects, a number of factors determine pricing. Once you have had your Producer Call, you will be provided with a price estimate.

With the Recap Movie, your details are provided digitally only (in the App) - using a guided questionnaire. You can still message with your Producer, but collaboration is kept online.

Our team has provided some suggestions/limits as a guide:

HOLLYWOOD MOVIES

• • For projects 60-90 seconds long: we suggest a minimum of 40-50 files, no limits
• • For projects 2-2.5 minutes long: we suggest a minimum of 125 files, no limits
• • For projects with custom lengths (more than 2.5 minutes) - unlimited

RECAP MOVIES

• • For projects 60-90 seconds long: minimum of 40-50 files, maximum of 100 files
• • For projects 2-2.5 minutes long: minimum of 125 files, maximum 250 files

For photos we recommend 12 MBS size (or 1280x720 or higher). For videos we recommend 1080p or higher (but 4K is best!). To check or change your camera settings, view this helpful tutorial for your type of phone: iPhone | Android

We can accept/work with all types of digital file formats! (Including audio files, or old photos and home movies that have been digitized.) If using content from your smartphone, you can easily upload using our mobile app. For other types of files - like GoPro’s or digital cameras or other digitized files, you can easily upload that content from your computer, using our website.

Yes! During upload or on the summary screen you can “star” your favorites to let us know which photos/videos are must-include content. You can also add notes on individual files to give more detail about a particular moment you captured. And even if a file is not the best quality - if it is something important to telling your story, tell us and we’ll make it work!

We will have a “Contributor” feature (coming soon!), that will allow you to invite friends and family to add their photos and videos to your project. However, if you have content from friends and family that you’d like to get to us before the Contributor feature is available, please email us at hello@urlifemedia.com and we can help link projects so that all the relevant content is combined!

All of your finished projects (Recaps and Hollywood Movies) will be conveniently located and stored in one place - the My Gallery section of the URLIFE app. From there you can easily save to your devices and share them to your social networks! Watch how easy it is.

The only information we collect is your account information (user name & email address). Your purchase is handled by a secure payment processor, we do not collect or store that information. This is compliant with the strictest requirements established by the GDPR.

We follow best practices to ensure the transfer of your content (between your device and our servers) use secure, encrypted connections.

Your photos, videos, curated galleries and final movie are owned by YOU. Your digital content is 100% private and confidential, unless you choose to share it.
