Seems very low quality, half of the pieces weren’t even cut all the way and were completely stuck together. Edges were raw and corners were peeling. All the pieces were covered in a papery dust which stuck to all surfaces around me. Still able to put together fine but just a bit disappointed in the quality.
Although this is a darling puzzle, the box only shows half of it. There’s such intricate pieces that it’s like solving a white on white puzzle if you don’t have a key. If I could rate it lower I would.
This is the only puzzle I've ever had that I've done over and over. I grew up exploring the Met, and this puzzle takes me right there again. I gave it to my granddaughter who lives far from the Met, but because of the puzzle, when she goes, I hope she may feel as at home there as I do.
We received this puzzles a gift. It was fun to do! We started out with the edges and anything with words, but there was one piece that we never could find. Once we completed the puzzle we realized why we could never find that specific piece..... it was missing. It kinda took the wind out of our sails, when we realized that we received a puzzle with a missing a piece.
We had so much fun doing this puzzle! We enjoyed looking at all the different sections of the museum and the art. Major, major props to the artist. It was a hard puzzle and took us about three days, but not so hard that it got boring. I suggest keeping a magnifying glass on hand. My only issue was that the preview on the front of the box wasn't the whole picture, and the preview on the back of the box was too small for my old eyes to see.
Absolutely love this puzzle! Especially the different size and shapes of the pieces. Great pandemic pastime. It brought back wonderful memories of my visit to the museum several years ago. And I get the pleasure to do it again, as my cat found that the pieces fall off the table quite well.
Amazing detail!
At first it seemed like a lot, but as I was looking at the pieces I was remembering each area of the museum. I started assembling my favorites galleries - Arms & Armor, Egyptian Art, Native American Art, and so on. I would love if this was the Museum Map or a print to display in my classroom. Usually I pass the puzzles forward, but I am saving this one for my niece once she is older. Of course I come to review and I see a Monopoly. SOLD.
