These are pretty good cutters. I have been trying different brands. I took the spring out so I could put these in a belt holster. I dont use cutters with a spring. I use these alot because I operate wire braiding machines. So I cut mostly 20 gauge all day. Of course I'm cutting chromel alumel iron alloy and constantan so these are not too hard. So far I have used the channellocks and I have a pair of Irwin. My job buys Klein which is probably the best brand for this type of tool

Great quality and exactly as pictured. Spring weight is good and the blades are sharp. Also no slop in the pivot which is nice. Depending on the durability I'll likely buy again when I have to.

I got these to replace a simple wire cutter we lost last summer, hoping to find a pair at least of the same quality, but preferably more so - more bang for the buck, if such a thing can be had from wire cutters; however, these turned out to be very stiff to handle and I'm not very impressed. I have to hope with use, they will loosen up because if not, they won't be of much use to me. In fact, I went looking out in the pasture for our old pair and found it! Rusty as it was, I still will prefer using it to this pair!

These are a good value. Cuts solid wire cleanly, and the spring is handy (still working fine).

However, WILL NOT WORK on multi-strand cable (like bike shifter and brake cable).
Need a more expensive tool for that.

The construction of this tool is top rate. It's comfortable and it's very sturdy. However, if you make a tool with a spring then the spring should stay connected to the tool. This absolutely does not. It falls out every time I clip a wire. The spring is useless so keep that in mind when deciding to purchase.

what can i say.... theyre wire cutters.... the spring is handy as you can imagine when your using your snippers a lot. the spring has popped out though, hence the 4 stars, but not a problem just kink the spring slightly and its done. havent given these snippers a true test yet but the titanium i have no doubt will handle much more abuse. the leverage is good and the handles are comfortable. so far the worst ive done is cut 8 penny nails.... (mostly to try em out) and cut through it with less effort than my cheapies. these will stay in my mcguyver box for years to come.

This is a great quality wire cutter for home improvement needs around the house. Went through the chicken wire we had like it was paper. I also used it to cut a small chain that was attaching a piece of pole to our wall. Went through that with little effort as well. I'm very pleased.
