About

Flogging Molly are the Celtic-punk pioneers known for frolicking barroom anthems like “Drunken Lullabies” and “Devil’s Dance Floor.” Though singer Dave King is Irish, the band made their name in the ’90s as the bar band at Molly Malone's (an Irish pub based in Los Angeles). Their breakthrough arrived in 2002 with the album Drunken Lullabies, when the title track “Drunken Lullabies” was featured in the popular video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. Flogging Molly exported their raucous live show to the Vans Warped Tour between 2000 and 2009, where they became fan favorites. Touring worldwide, Flogging Molly would cement their reputation as one of the rowdiest and most passionate live bands in the world. Popular albums like Swagger (2000) and Float (2008), often defying categorization, have propelled them to sell over a million albums worldwide.

    Unexpected New Fans

    by HST on 3/22/24Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson

We went to see Flogging Molly fully expecting for them to be awesome - and they were!! What we weren’t expecting was to fall in love with Amigo the Devil! He is fantastic! You should check him out! Gen and the Degenerates are fabulous as well. Check them out too! Back to Flogging Molly… incredible! Go see them if you have the chance!

    by Tonyscruz on 3/18/24Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson

The energy was phenomenal and the music was spot on. This show was everything I expected. If you've never seen Flogging Molly then you're truly missing out. This band is a gem.

    Great show, great venue!

by Townie47 on 3/18/24Brown County Music Center - Nashville

Flogging Molly was on fire at the Brown County Music Center (Nashville Indiana). Great show at a great venue! Big enough to house such a big energetic group and small enough that there isn't a bad seat in the place. Genn and the Degenerates and Amigo the Devil opened with good energy and sound and FM finished the night strong!!

    Awesome, But Way Too Loud!

by Tucson Tuna on 3/18/24Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson

FM is currently my favorite live band, and writes some of the best lyrics in the business. I saw them in San Francisco last summer, then again here in Tucson. Great energy, fun showmanship, excellent musicians, but it was all overwhelmed (at both venues) by a PA system that was cranked up so high that it all mashed together into one long screech. Lyrics? Individual instruments? Fuggit about it! It's too bad because they sound so good on their recordings, both live and studio. Obviously, they think this is preferable, but if they backed off the decibel level about 20%, the show would have been more digestible. Still, all in all, a fantastic performance! I'm sure I'll be back next time they roll through town!

Molly was awesome. The hotel, not so much

by Molly rocked it! on 3/12/24Kansas Star Event Center Arena - Mulvane

It was a great concert, so the rating is not about the music at all. Gen & the Degenerates, Amigo the Devil and Flogging Molly were absolutely awesome! The venue . . . We stayed at the Hampton attached to the Kansas Star Casino. In a no smoking room. As soon as we walked in the lobby, we were overwhelmed by the smell of smoke. OK, you can smoke in the casino. We got to our room and the smell of smoke permeated the room. In the steak house too. Don’t get me wrong, the concert was amazing and probably one of the loudest - and clearest sounding concerts I have been to - and I grew up going to concerts in the 70’s & 80’s. The Event Center itself is great. The crowd was not large. I expected a larger crowd for FM. My whole reason for the 3 star was, if you plan on coming in from out of town and are not a smoker, don’t stay at the hotel attached to the casino. That in itself drove my overall experience from a 5 to a 3 star.

    Irish punk? Yes, please!!

by DrT on 3/12/24Kansas Star Event Center Arena - Mulvane

Amigo the Devil is deliciously dark, great stories. Flogging Molly is a party from start to finish. Unlimited energy, great stage presence, and crowd interaction was top notch

    AWESOME!

by TLaffery on 3/12/24Kansas Star Event Center Arena - Mulvane

Great venue, amazing kick-butt band! The 3 things I didn't like were: the snacks for sale at the concert were awful and very limited when you bought a bottle of water, they poured it into the cup if you buy seats on the ground floor, there are zero cupholders and the chairs are very small and close together.

We had a really great time

by CJ on 3/12/24Kansas Star Event Center Arena - Mulvane

Wasn't impressed with the first two bands. They left the best for last. Lots of energy in the arena.

There's not enough stars for how good this was!

by MadMageoftheMidwest on 3/11/24Uptown Theater - Kansas City

This was my second time seeing Flogging Molly but my first ever VIP experience. The concert was so amazing, even better than when I saw them with Dropkick Murphys in 2018. This may be the best show I've ever been to!
