There are some earlier reviews with some genuinely lovely stones, so I guess like, what’s up with that?Barring the whisper of color, they’re nice stones. They’re nice and big, very pretty. If you’re looking for a bag of just regular clear quartz I’d totally recommend this to you.I’ve inclused a picture with the nicest one, two average ones, and the clearest one. All in all it’s a 3/5, I got a product, however despite the fact that I wasn’t planning on using these for crystal healing they’ve totally jumbled my chakras. Advertise for the product you’re selling, this is kinda lame.

    Firstly, if you buy these expecting the rich and dark purple in the image, then you will be disappointed. Amethyst simply does not exist in such a color.

    That being said, every piece was a good shade of purple with only one that I got being mostly devoid of purple.

    All the pieces were good, consistent sizes, and not too roughed up from travel.

    What can I say they're pretty rocks they don't do anything but sit there and look pretty. Were they worth the money probably not but they are pretty so my wife thinks they were. Eventually I will get to throw them in the fish tank for fish entertainment I think she even has some weird Crystal obelisks that I may be able to put in the aquarium as well to give the fish something to worship.

    This product definitely met my expectations and even went a little bit more. The product is exactly as the seller described. Veins of natural crystal found in nature have significant variations in the layering of the structure (think multi layer cake squished down then twisted up and down a bit and you'll get the idea. To get the stones you see in jewelry the vein is mined, pieces of crystal are extracted and larger pieces are cut down to extract the part with the most color/etc then those pieces are cut to the shape required and polished. I give this brief geology lesson so any purchasers not familiar with crystals/gems will understand that if they get pieces with sections that are milky white etc this is the way it comes out of the ground! Considering the price point and the seller's description the quality of the crystals received completely satisfied me. There are several pieces I can cut down and polish if I wished some "perfect jewelry pieces" but I wanted good quality natural crystals first and foremost and that's what I got with this purchase! Don't expect to get a bag full of gemstones. Expect milky white patches, and variations in the color brightness/darkness of individual crystal fragments. Just remember this is about as close as most people will get to holding natural crystals that came out of the ground so that's a "gem" in itself :-)

    I ordered these stones because I'd ordered the citrine stones and they were very nice. When I got the amethyst I was very disappointed at first because the stones had almost no color when they arrived...they were gray. They looked like they'd been in direct sunlight too long.
    So I cleaned them and put them in a bowl, figuring I'd find some way to use them even though they weren't purple. To my surprise, over the next week the amethyst color started returning. It's been several weeks and the stones now have a nice purple color, kinda like the color in the picture. I think they're happy to be here with the other crystals!
