I saw this place on Netflix, so I knew I had to visit! In reading reviews, there were two common themes that I can attest to. First, go for lunch. Even when they opened at 11am , there was about an hour wait. That wait...only got longer as time went on. So, the earlier the better. Two, the food was AMAZING! I had the wise guy pizza and loved it. Even took another pie to go! Great and friendly service. Definitely a highlight of my visit to Phoenix!More

The variety of pizzas were unique and delicious! The bread was amazing. The salads were very fresh. A really unique experience. TIP: get there when they open for a short wait.

Not worth the wait or the hype. The reputation is manufactured. There is no reason they can’t be more efficient and move customers in and out in a reasonable manner. The pizza is mediocre at best. The margherita pie was runny, soggy and bland. The...signature Rosa was bitter, tasted only of parmasean cheese and was dry. The wiseguy pie was ok but nothing you couldn’t get at a hole in the wall NYC place. All had burned crusts. Totally not worth it and wouldn’t go back.More

We arrived just as the town and country opened. I liked the ambiance of the place quite nice. Service was excellent we were seated quickly and had our pizza in no time. My rating comes completely from the quality of the pizza. Both pizzas we...ordered were burnt black on the bottom yet the middle parts were soggy and limp. Ingredients were apparently thrown on after the cheese and dough were cooked so they never incorporated into the pie. The crust was quite tasteless but chewy which I like. Overall it was not a good pizza even though these guys are hyped as having amazing pizzas.More

Best Pizza in America …Not! A destination that rests on its laurels. Two decades ago … Maybe?? But now with the proliferation of Neopolitan greatness across the country. Forget about it! Two stars only…for zesty tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella. Incredibly slow service and a...staff that couldn’t be bothered …35 minutes to bake a pie with less than 20 clients in the house? A dough that tastes like burned pita bread. At such a high price point too. Overrated… Well? Perhaps not …reviews seem to be slipping into the dreaded 3 zone!More

The pizza at Pizzeria Bianco is really outstanding, especially if you can appreciate the taste of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, wood fired ovens and details like drizzling olive oil on the pizza when it comes out. If you can’t appreciate or are able to rationalize...the cost of the above, this will be an awful experience for you. If you can, you’ll realize how good the pizza.More

Is it good pizza? Yes. Is it worth a two hour wait? Maybe Is it the best pizza I have ever had? Absolutely not. Is it worth the price? Nope I went here with a few friends as we had heard it was rated as...the best pizza place in the US. There was a two hour wait (on a Monday night) but they have a bar beside it with nice tables outside so the wait was comfortable. The pizzas are pretty small, we each ate a whole pizza. We each ordered a different pizza and shared around the table. They were certainly good, but not worth what we paid for them. I can think of two pizza places I enjoyed more just in the past few months (Wyo Dough in Cody, WY and nearly any Chicago Pizza). The pizzas come out quick, which was nice, but the crust was overcooked for my taste.More

We visited the Heritage Hills location. We were seated within about 10 minutes of our arrival. We visited the liquor house next door and the Old Fashion was one of the best we have had. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and added the grilled onion...and prosciutto . The salad was also tasty. We shared the salad and one pizza and it was plenty. They provided complimentary bread and olive oil when we sat down. The food was very very good. The seating is very limited so hence the long waits. They only take one order during your visit so make sure and order appropriately for your party. I enjoyed the visit very much. I did feel like the staff was very stressed shuffling customers in and out.More

It was underwhelming. Maybe my expectations were too high for small, thin crust $26 pizza. Waited 90 minutes to get in, then the waitress gave us a bunch of rules, like they'll only take one order, nothing can be added, and other things I didn't...really listen to. Just seemed "rulesy." They didn't give us a single reason to return.More

This place has been on my list for a very long time. We happened to be in Phoenix for one night, so let's go. We went to the original restaurant on Adams, and found a little place right on the edge of a pedestrian only...little road with a couple of eateries nearby. They do offer valet parking, it is a bit pricey at $10, but we didn't want to drive a few streets over for a parking garage so we sucked it up and paid the $10. We arrived about 4:15 pm on a Thursday and still had to wait, but only 20 minutes. I know it gets very crowded and wait times can be very long, but it is well worth any wait. I have followed Chris Bianco for a long time, and buy his Bianco Dinapoli canned tomatoes to make my own sauce. I can tell you, my pizza's with his sauce don't even begin to compare to the pizza's at Pizzaria Bianco. I can still taste the amazing pizza. We ordered a Margherita pizza and added wood smoked mushrooms. The pizza's are 12 inches or 6 slices. They recommend a pizza per person. However, I couldn't eat an entire pizza and we were flying early the next morning so Mr. B and I decided to share one pizza. I wish we could have tried more than one, but the one we got was incredible. The crust is crispy, yet soft, the char on the crust has a beautiful smoky taste, the sauce full of rich tomato flavor, the cheese fresh and creamy and the mushrooms added another layer of smokiness to an already perfect pie. Throw a glass of beautiful wine and a nice cold beer and you have the perfect meal in my book. The atmosphere is modern, but warm and cozy. With the smallness it has a life of its own and you feel special to just be there. Pizza seems simple, but it isn't, and Pizzeria Bianco is the best we have had and we won't forget the pizza.More

They serve good, thin crust, wood fired pizza. I noticed this little pizza place when wandering through Heritage Square. I came after the lunch rush and was seated at the bar in about 5 minutes. The pies are about 12 inches and served up hot...out of the oven. The center was a bit soupy and sloppy, but the outer crust was crisp without getting tough. Fresh ingredients helped make it a tasty meal. The pizzas are a bit overpriced in the $25 range. The host was a bit matter-of-fact, but the server was friendly and helpful with suggestions. I enjoyed my pizza in an historic building. It’s a good stop if the line isn’t too long.More

We heard very good things about pizzeria Bianco, so we did not want to miss it on our trip to Phoenix. Was overall not impressed. We came on a Monday afternoon and had to wait less than 30 minutes. The service was prompt, but seemed...to be in a hurry. We had the Rosa. I like woodfired pizza, but this one seemed a bit burned on the bottom. We also like to try new selections. But the Rosa just did not seem to have the flavor I was expecting. For a 12 inch pizza, side of bread, and valet parking total was $40. Didn’t seem to be a $40 experience.More

Like many my husband and I had seen pizzeria Bianco and its owner Chris Bianco featured on a Netflix special so we decided we wanted to try it as we would be in the Phoenix area. Parking was easy although you have to park in...street parking and walk a little bit at times. The restaurant is small and there’s a bar next to it called Bar Bianco, where you can wait, which is what we did as our wait when we arrived was two hours and they don’t take reservations. Typically I would never wait two hours for pizza however, I’m so glad we did. The crust is what makes this pizza amazing! The service was good, cocktails were great and the ambience was really fun. We were glad that we went for the experience and would probably go again.More

Pizzeria Bianco lived up to the hype as the restaurant with the best Pizza in America. We ordered the Magherita pizza and Sonny boy plus the caprese salad. The mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, olive oil, and basil were simply divine. Their vegetable garden is in front...of the restaurant. You are certain, the ingredients are fresh and authentic. A few pointers to help make your experience smoother. The restaurant has a valet parking($10), which makes it convenient because parking can be tricky downtown. This location, which is the original location, is small and has some waiting time. If you have to wait and don’t want to wait outside especially in the summer time, you can wait at the bar. The bar is the next building over and they will text you when the food is ready. Highly recommended and I will visit again if in the Phoenix area.More
