You can remove the bottom screws that hold the bottom plate  from the ride on toy. I think 6 screws, the foot pedal will pop out with some light pressure.  the switch can become dislodged , mine was dislodged from the factory . I was able to push the it back in till it clipped.  Hopefully,  Huffy will replace your switch with an updated one.

Bought for Christmas and in April the toy is stuck in the forward gear. Need manufacturers info to contact please

I ordered for my toddler nephew.  It was just the right size and "excitement" for him.  He absolutely loves it!

Fun Ride-On

I bought this for my 2 year old and he loves it, but it's very slow as others have said. I can walk faster (at a normal pace) than this runs at top speed, which is great if you're afraid they're going to take off on it, or perhaps if you have any issues with walking quickly (might be great for grandparents' house if they don't move quite as quickly as they once did but still want a toy like this for the grandkids). It's powered by a foot pedal instead of a hand grip which was REALLY easy for my little guy to get the hang of quickly! Overall, it's good and works well, but I have a feeling we'll be upgrading it in a year or so when he wants to go faster.  :)

Slow but cute

Gift for my son's 2nd Bday. Manual does not illustrate or explain quicly how to connect battery that it is under the seat. My husband and I spent a say and a half trying to figure it out bc the vehicle was not working. After everything was figured out... my son was happy! He drives it outside on grass and it works great. Looking to buy another one for my daughter for Xmas.

Easy To Ride

I bought this for my grandson's 3rd birthday. When the package arrived I was worried the ride on may have been damaged as there was a large hole in the boxes where it looked like a fork lift hit it. After getting it opened I was pleased to see it was undamaged. Putting it together wasn't too bad. I had to have my husband put the pins in for me as I wasn't able to get them in. After getting it together I checked to see if it would run. It goes pretty fast-at least it took off fast. I am eager to see what my grandson thinks of it. Overall, I think this was worth the money I paid for it, however, I wouldn't have paid the original price for it.

Hard to put together. The back tail didn't fit. I had to shave some of the plastic off. That said my grandson absolutely loves it.

Shows a pretty big kid, but most definitely not big enough product. I was disappointed by its actual size. It isn't big enough for a five year old much less a seven year old as advertised.

First off it's really slow.  This isn't a big deal on flat land but when it is going over any incline it really struggles. My kid loved it but now doesn't work. It only goes in reverse and I see some other comments of people having the same problem.  My kid loved it but now I just get a depressing sad face when I tell him it's broke
