Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) 38mm Aluminum Case with White Sport Band - Silver Aluminum - (2017)

I purchased an open box watch which I thought I would never do but so far, I haven't had any problems with the open box and even though it wasn't a huge savings, it was enough to cause me to get the 3 series instead of the 2. I bought this watch to replace a broken fitbit and I am so glad I did because it so perfectly pairs with my mac air, iphone 7 and ipad I own. I was surprised by friends that say they don't use many of the features on the watch because I am 60 (supposedly older people don't understand tech stuff) and I use so many features on this watch. I recommend you go online, download the instruction manual (over 300 pages) use the table of contents to skim what you don't think you'll need and read the parts you might use. In addition to all of the sport tracking features I love the little things, I can ping my phone (which I am always losing), it automatically opens my mac air, I can silent my phone without taking it out of my purse, I can see who is calling me and send a short response without taking my phone out of my purse, I can set up my clock face to my specifications so that I can see the time without my reading glasses or know what time it is in Dublin where my son lives. I can quickly make it waterproof before I wash dishes or bath the dog and if I want I can wear it when I swim laps at the YMCA but I haven't tried that yet. I guess you can tell I love this watch.

Best smartwatch on the market! I bought my Apple Watch in 2022 after killing three Fitbitch smartwatches and one no name Amazon smartwatch. It’s 2024 and my Apple Watch lives on despite me working outside, year round in various weather conditions, despite banging off equipment, and forgetting to take it off in the shower. This has been the most durable by far. It is a little banged up and doesn’t hold a charge like it did in the beginning but it still works fine.

Apple discontinued "Rose Gold" for Series 3 watches. But they changed the "Gold" color from the Series 2. My wife and I both like the new Series 3 Gold. It's somewhere between Gold and Rose Gold. And the wristband is a better Pink. The actual watch is, of course, awesome! She got the one without Cellular (with Cellular you will have to pay $10/mo to your cell phone provider for the watch). You will get all the same features on the regular Series 3 watch that the Cellular one has. The only difference is that Cellular will let you leave your phone at home or in the car and you will still be able to receive calls and texts on your watch. But most people don't need that.

I don't need the latest and greatest, or the EKG, or even the fall detection. What I really needed was a watch, that could work with my phone, fit my wrist, give me directions and work with my laptop. It's perfect. It works. I can't use my phone of the sales floor, but I CAN phone through the watch, help my customers, answer the business phone and send texts through the watch, all without missing a beat. I cannot tell you how fascinated my customers are, and how many questions I get about the Series 3 AND the Series 4 I bought for my 87 year old and she loves it. I also cannot tell you how many times I will see a customer, having explained how I use my watch, who has gone to Best Buy or Apple and bought their own, and have come back to thank me and share how they use their watch! BTW I drive horses Combined Driving. The watch is very good for keeping me on pace AND on course :D

I had wanted to get a watch to track my everyday steps and fitness but I didn’t want a Fitbit nor did wanta Garmin because I wasn’t that active and I also wanted something that synced to my phone well. Since this was Apple just like my phone I wanted to give it and try and wow if I had the money I would 2 more of these as gifts.

I’m the one that always opted out to getting the Apple Watch. I thought it was pointless until now. I love this watch. It’s so convenient, simple to setup, and easy to use. It beats always having to pick up your iPhone to respond to messages. It’s the best! Oh yeah, don’t be silly like me by making a second trip to Best Buy asking for a larger band because it comes in the box. Lol. The watch comes with the smaller band already on it and the large band is in the box. Also, I went with the 38mm because the 42mm was too big for my wrist. The 38mm is a perfect fit. I’m still exploring the watch and loving it!

This watch has become an intrical part of not only my personal life, but my business as well. As a Realtor, I can answer texts, emails, and calls without using my phone. It also relays directions on your wrist when using GPS on your phone, which vibrates when it's time to make a turn, saving time from turning around or being re-routed when I'm on the phone not paying attention to the GPS. In my personal life, I use it when cooking to set timers, give me recipes, or any other information - just twist your wrist and say "hey Siri" and she does it all. I love the activity aspect to track my fitness & heart rate. Don't even wear my other watches anymore, because I literally cannot live without this watch!!
