We likes to add weird names to different guns, and it makes it look cool. So in the short and the long, its just for looks.

He LOVED that the shells come outside as a real one. I think this is his biggest insight 
My son is really into Nerf. We like that they can play with friends or siblings and that HASBRO is innovating in outdoor playing options.

The only issue I have with this is the reload clips are a bit clunky. But overall it's a quality build.

The gun itself is great and the targets are also really excellent. My little guy would have played with this gun for as long as I let him today.

It has target and not too easy to play but it is fun to play and practice shooting. Need to train more to use it in the beginning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids, my husband, and myself always enjoy playing with Nerf Guns/toys. With so many designs, this one stood out to me because of the 5 shell storage area. The item was well packaged, and was easy to take out of the box.
This Nerf Elite Trilogy is recommended for 8+, but my 7 year old was able to easily hold it up and play with it. But I guess it depends on how big your child is and if they can properly use the toy. 
After reading the instructions ( which are easy to understand, and well written ), my family and I set up the shells in the storage area. 
I noticed that it took a bit of force to rack back the bottom slide, to open the area the shell/darts go in to. This is the only area my kids had trouble with and needed my assistance. I have both boys, 9 and 7. 
After setting up the darts inside, the trigger was easy to pull. The darts flew out fast and traveled a good distance. A plus when playing outside. 
Another cool feature on this Nerf shooter, is that it releases the shell out of the side. This makes it so you don't have to grab it out, and can put another shell in fast. So when going up against someone else, it saves time reloading. Once in awhile I noticed that the used shell wouldn't pop out, but you have to hold the Nerf gun correctly and not on an angle. 
This was a fun new Nerf toy to play with, and would definitely recommend adding it to your Nerf gun collection.
