Superior picture & OLED is the future

It wouldn’t turn on so I had to grab a new television quickly during these times where we are staying at home. I’ve always wanted to get an OLED, but wasn’t sure the higher price was worth it. I was wrong. The picture is perfect. Blacks are perfect & there is no blooming That you get with a LED TV (even with dimming zones). With the X1 ultimate processing chip from Sony, cable TV that is 1080i looks like 4K. The colors are vibrant & it has a superior picture. The sound is also excellent if you don’t have it connected to an AVR. the speakers are behind the screen & there is a built in sub. This television is a luxury item that has made staying at home a lot more tolerable.

Love the speaker system.

Replaced the 55 inch HD TV that came with my 5th wheel camper, it's picture was good however the sound was extremely twangy and required it to be set at +70 to hear it. That is the main reason for replacing it.

I was concerned about burn-in but realized wi th my tv habits this shouldn't be a problem. This was part of a home on wheels (RV) AV overhaul. Installed on a motorized lift combined with 5.1.2 surround system. Also uses very little power which is great when you are boondocking. I've read that sony and lg use the same display but the frame on the sony is thinner. The contrast is quite impressive! First movie watched was Interstellar and Holy darkness- I can never go back!

We have a large, tall livingroom area so we are thinking about adding a sounds bar to project the sound farther without having to crank up the volume.

- A:Answer Any network connected device has the potential for someone to snoop, depending on what your definition of snoop is. To my knowledge, this TV does not have a camera so someone shouldn't be able to see inside the room. However, it has a microphone and android operating system so, depending on what apps you choose to install or are already installed, the potential for someone to snoop exists. The list of possible snoopers varies from Sony, Google, your ISP, to a hacker. Sony and Google have opt-out checkboxes buried in the settings, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't collect other bits of information that isn't considered sensitive or identifiable to the end user. You can just not connect the TV to your network if you are that worried about a snooper but your ISP will still be able to monitor what programs you watch. I guess you could always just buy this nice TV, not connect it to anything, and get an antenna to receive over-the-air broadcast HD channels for a worry free snooping experience.

Q: QuestionHow do I connect my X Box one X so I can play games in HDR 10.When I play the Insect demo HDR is grayed out. Forza Horizon 4 says no HDR device detected. 4 K details says I can't play games with or capture in HDR.

- A:Answer HDMI 2 & 3 are the only ports for 4K 60. And you have to change settings to enhanced format to activate that in the TV settings.
