There were cheaper mitts that "compatible" with Instant Pot, but I decided to go with the original manufacturer to make sure the fit is perfect. The mitt fits under the rim just right. The silicone material is thick. The heat protection is excellent. They are easy to clean.
In addition to fitting the Instant Pot, I also found they work really well with lifting hot pots from the stove burners. I am very happy with these mitts.

A must have for pressure cookers.
I use these daily and couldn't live without them now. I use them primarily for the Instant Pot but for other things as well. They store easily inside one another. I love the size. Others I've seen instore are far larger and bulky and I wanted something small. They have a lot of thickness to them as well. I don't like to use them for really heavy Casserole dishes coming out of the oven though, not because they don't resist the heat (they do) but because they feel slippery on glass and stonewear. On steel they grip nicely.senzascusaA must have for pressure cookers.

I can't even figure out how I got the pot out of the Instant Pot before I had these!
