Nice location by the river, close enough to the train station and the city centre. Nice staff and overall clean and pleasant, didn’t get a chance to see too much of the hotel facilities, but had a really easy and comfortable stay, I would go back.

You don’t need much time in Windsor as the only main attraction is the castle. We did lots of walking around the town and went in the castle. On our second day we struggled to find something else to do. But I would recommend the duck tour ! Excellent service and hospitality. Very educational and a great hour out.

We had a day at legoland and a morning at Windsor Castle. We ate out in Windsor both nights and enjoyed the restaurants we visited. There was plenty of choice. We could have had another couple of days and explored more.

Windsor is such a lovely town.
Windsor is such a lovely town. Even though it seems crowned with tourists during day time but evening and dinner time was quite calm up. We went in Febuary so the sun set so fast people tend to stay in the hotel. we had Nando's chicken which is really good. The Macdonal hotel we were staying located in great location, nice staff, and nice accomodation.
There are many more places to visit not just the Windsor Castle. This town has many more to offer. If you love historical but with city vibes. Windsor is a good choice.

There is nothing to dislike about Windsor.
There is nothing to dislike about Windsor. It is packed full of history including not only the castle but also The Long Walk, Windsor Great Park, the shortest street in England and centuries old pubs.
There are an array of good eateries and plenty of shops.
The hotel did not serve breakfast but recommended some places in Windsor. The room was good and clean. It was located at the other end of town but it took only 10-15 minutes to get to where the Castle is. Quite a lot of shops, pubs and cafes to choose from. There is a Chinese call 1623 (or something like that) which was amazing. The hotel is actually a pub - and is a very friendly one. The guy let me sample some of the beers and I enjoyed a pint in there before heading off to look around.
The location was great and was so easy to communicate with Jeremy. The amenities in the house were amazing and the heated floors were great for a cozy Christmas. We have been going to Windsor for many years from US to visit my parents and family and this was the best accommodation so far really enjoyable. Having Parking at the house was a real benefit.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was good with easy access to Windsor. Better off paying for an Uber than the extortionate parking prices in town. The gardens were lovely and it has a nice terrace area where we enjoyed a night cap. A shame we didn’t get to try their wood fired oven pizzas.
The food was really good at the Carvery. A generous complimentary breakfast and dinner the night before was very reasonable. The bus to Windsor old town/castle was right outside the hotel and very convenient. We'd like to give a special shut out to Tina, the receptionist. She was extremely helpful and went beyond her duties to help us out!
The level of help, care and support provided by Rachael on reception was quite exceptional. We were visiting Windsor to attend an Investiture at the Castle. The help, care and support provided by Rachael made a very special occasion all the more memorable. Thank you Rachael; you are an excellent ambassador for the Castle Hotel, Windsor.
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, with ensuite shower and toilet and a large screen TV.
The lounge was very nice and the facilities, such as tea, coffee, microwave and toaster, very good.
The location was excellent with the Castle and Theatre just ten minutes walk away and a large car park at the rear of the hotel.
Wanted somewhere to stay in Windsor with a friend and our 5 year olds - didn’t want to be split up in hotel rooms. Flat was perfect for the kids to spend time together and a great location for Legoland and Windsor Castle. Really clean and quiet. Host was very responsive to messages. We had a lovely break.
Great location, just 2 minutes by walk to Windsor Castle. The room is very big cosy and bright. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom with bath it was phenomenal .Heater is also work very welI if you feel cold. I really loved that hotel.
The Hotel is in Windsor High St, close to everything. Castle, shops, restaurants and even the railway station.
The room was impeccably clean and the bed was just what we needed after a long flight
The reception staff were very helpful.
Everything was lovely. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The toiletries were a treat being Elemis products.
The staff were very helpful and professional.
The hotel is really close to the Castle, shops and restaurants.
Great location and clean rooms. This hotel is located across from the long walk to Windsor, which was beautiful. Also, it was only a 5 minute walk to the center of town. The staff were all very helpful and very accomodating.
The hotel is in a safe area and is within walking distance of Windsor Castle and the shopping area. The management was very kind, and helpful and when we requested items such as towels, etc. He was very quick to respond.
The decor and comfortable furniture and bed. Rooms were spacious. Well stocked kitchen to accommodate all your cooking needs. Proximity to Windsor Castle and local shops and restaurants!
