The oven gets pretty hot on top and all sides.  I wouldn&#39;t set anything on top while it&#39;s hot, like plastic.  But - the top of the oven makes a wonderful plate warmer for heat proof dishes while the food is heating!  I purchased a dollar store cookie sheet to place under the oven to protect the surface underneath.  It won&#39;t fit down in the sheet pan, but the rubber tipped feet all perch on top quite sturdy, and you can use the space between the oven and sheet pan to store the tray or rack!  The sheet also catches crumbs falling through the crack when the door is opened.

Great Toaster Oven!

got it fast barely tested it out and everythings working just fine i dont know why people are saying the knobs are difficult when it was easy to turn and set timing i highly recommend it for people who just want a single serving meal fresh out the oven taste (not for big meals)

I was skeptical when first considering this item.  I wanted a small low watt usage toast/warm up oven. It uses 2 quartz rod heating elements and has a variable timer dial and multiple heat settings. It works quite well and toasts bread / grilled sandwiches evenly as it warms then through. The only issue is it cycles off and on a lot on lower settings - that works well to warm items if you are not in a hurry. I got it to use in the bedroom! to have warm snacks on cool evenings. It.'s very light weight/compact-the cord is very short so I plug it into a power strip. Bottom exterior does not get very hot -sides / top get quite warm.  I'm very pleased at $13.00 cost [ 3-15-2018]. The interior metal tray was warped but is functional. I hope it lasts!

It works okay for the price. The heat setting knobBooba is hard to turn. I tried to toast a waffle according to the instructions and burnt it.  After several attempts I finally figured out the best setting for toasting.

Toaster oven

I bought this to use at work . So far I made a small pizza a hot pocket and dinner roll. It worked well for all. And I like the timer feature because sometimes I get busy and don't have to worry about forgetting about it.

it is a great item works well outside gets hot but expect that to . Timer works as well as the heating elements  .And what a great price does great for personal pizza .

almost what i was looking for

We picked this up on sale when the toaster in our rental gave up. It has twist knobs to set the temp and time...not as accurate as an electronic setup, but that's why the price was so good. It heats up and toasts rather quickly.

Decent little toaster

The size and white color are perfect but the knobs to turn the temps are very difficult to  turn. Also the crumb tray is attached, not so easy to clean. We returned the toaster oven to Wal-Mart.

Difficult

This is a simple toaster oven which does what it needs to do. Heat is a little uneven but for toasting or simple warming, you can't go wrong for the price. We purchased a second after using the first for years. Another similar unit has appeared in the kitchen at work and that has been fine also.
